Description from store Enjoy intuitive, next-generation dictation and voice recognition virtually everywhere online, featuring advanced capabilities such as: AUTO-EDITING BY RESAYING Easily correct misheard words or phrases, or rephrase simply by resaying. No need for cumbersome use of mouse, keyboard or voice commands. Speak! will automatically locate and amend the relevant text, adjusting punctuation as necessary. You can easily correct by resaying for instance, the mishearing "catch the police find" of "attached please find," or rephrase "Love is all we need" as "All you need is love." This makes dictation more intuitive and natural. REAL-TIME AUTO-CORRECTION Speak! fixes in real time many common slips of the tongue and speaking errors, further speeding up dictation. AUTO-PUNCTUATION As you create and edit your message or text by dictation, punctuation is automatically applied and adjusted. AUTO-ADJUSTMENT Speak! automatically adjusting the surrounding text when you make insertions and replacements via dictation. AUTOMATIC LANGUAGE SWITCHING Multi-lingual users rejoice! Speak recognizes 70+ languages including German, Hindi, Portuguese, etc. and can auto-switch between your preferred languages based on the current context, for example, based on who you are chatting with in messaging apps like WhatsApp. You can also easily switch languages from the page context menu or by just saying "to Spanish", "to French", etc. CONVENIENT SHORTCUTS You can activate the extension, if you prefer, by just double-clicking in a text field. There are also handy keyboard shortcuts for toggling dictation and switching languages. VOICE COMMANDS FOR EDITING AND FORMATING: Undo/Redo — undoes/redoes the last inserted transcript or auto-edit. Formatting: — Use commands like "in quotes," "in parentheses," "capitalized," and "all caps" to format selected text or as you speak. For instance, when you say "in quotes Indiana Jones", the resulting text will appear as “Indiana Jones”. EMOTICONS WITH VOICE: Express yourself with over 50 emoticons, like "happy face" for 😊 or "grinning face" for 😁, etc. SUPPORT Would love to hear your feedback! If you encounter an issue, a particular site does not work or you have a suggestion, use the feedback option from the extension menu or email us at [email protected]. For detailed guidance and tips, visit our website: https://kredor.com/products/speak. PLEASE NOTE: Speak does not work with Google Docs and Word Online yet. These sites and a few others don't use regular text fields for input or have blocked microphone access, which prevents Speak from working with them.

  • (2025-03-05) can demir: lOOKS GREAT! sUGGESTions: 1) Allow writing in an application in Windows? B) At least maybe into some electron based apps? 2) for punctuation, allow to use english even if dictating in another Language? 3) Continious dictation even when change tab / another app.. Thank you. 4.5 stars.. AS LONG AS Current Features continue to Be FREE!..
  • (2025-03-01) Jamie Lennox: Auto editing seems to have stopped working for some reason
  • (2024-11-02) Osman ÇAKMAK: Broooo, this insane. Im currently using google keep for my social media contents. This is fire and turkish working as well. This extension save me much time and writes. Thanks again and cheers <3
  • (2024-10-08) Zac Hansen: YES!! I wanted something to dictate in Canva docs + for rapid AI prompting and this works great. Doesn't work sadly in Google Docs but Gdocs has a native speech to text thing so you don't really need one in Gdocs. This rocks, thank you for creating this.
  • (2024-09-10) Aaron Seagle: Does not work with google docs...
  • (2024-08-18) Caden Knebel: I need it for google docs and it just didn't work o not everything I wished for
  • (2024-08-09) Lani “Lanigurl” Starr*: (Oddly enough, I cant use the extension to write a review.) The extension is great, for the most part. What bothers me is this. You better be ready to speak what you want to without breathing or thinking. If you have just a little break in your flow, it stops sentence. Period. Whether it makes since or not leaving you to going back and having to edit out periods, capital letters and unwanted breaks. There should be a speed setting. People speak at different rates. Honestly, its the cant take a pause thing that got the app a 3 star. Its a deal breaker for me. Besides that. Its awesome!! I love I can double click on the page and it starts then another double click, its off. I can use it in SRW and Sales Force. (WFH) That will keep it in my computer until I find something I can take a breath and think using.
  • (2024-08-07) Chad Muller: Outstandingly simple and works exactly like I need it to.
  • (2024-08-05) Tim Heymans: I'm comparing this one with Voice In... Generally this one seems better, because of the autopunctuation and because it's completely free, without limitations. Voice In still has a few nice touches though, notably a sound that's played whenever you activate or deactivate the extension and the option for custom commands (paid). Possible improvements for Speak!: - Switch between more than 2 languages (I regularly write emails in 3 different languages) - Improve the autocorrect options - right now you need to be very fast with your correction in order for the software to recognize it as such. - a more extensive support & help section (explaining, for example, what the voice commands are in languages other than English).
  • (2024-08-01) alexkovelsky: Works good and doesn't need extra copy/paste step!
  • (2024-07-30) joseph abeysinghe: Works! thanks for keeping it free to use
  • (2024-07-29) Slava Lishnevsky: I can't believe, but this thing actually works !! Automatic language change and punctuation correction is fantastic.
  • (2024-07-26) Blue Stacky: Hi, thank you for making this great dicate app, there is one big flaw, when i type anything on X/Twitter and press reply/post button, only first word or letter gets sent many times, i have already turned off auto editing etc, please help me with this, I am looking forward for your reply.
  • (2024-07-21) Frank D.: Brilliant! Thank you for this. I've been using and paying for Voice In, and this is far more accurate, right off the bat. I'd love to be able to pay for this extension. Hopefully you'll make that possible soon. 🙏 A FEW THINGS I'D LOVE TO SEE: — A sound whenever the extension is activated/ deactivated. — The ability to create and store customized phrases. This would require signing up for an account. — Perhaps worth considering might be having a keyboard shortcut to toggle auto-punctuation. There are situations where I find it useful and others where I'd like to turn it off. ✅ DONE: I asked for the ability to switch back to English from Portuguese via a voice command and you fixed that. Thank you! (You'll likely need to do the same with Spanish and other languages.)
  • (2024-07-18) Sajjad Haq: Thanks so much for making this guys! Incredibly innovative piece of work. one minor suggestion: Sometimes when I'm speaking. I take time to think. Before saying the next sentence. There has to be a way. For it to not place a period and start a next sentence each time I take a pause. This whole paragraph here. I wrote using this extension. As you can see, each time I paused It placed a period. Love it nonetheless
  • (2024-05-13) kicnbac: Not working Edge
  • (2024-04-10) Frank Hayes: I love how accurate it is however, as I was talking the words would not stay in the text field I was writing in. Is there a fix for this?
  • (2024-04-06) Deeper With Diego: Doesn't work on Vivaldi.
  • (2024-03-03) g ninja: i'm pretty scared i saw "OM SO (OmSo73)" say that this only works for a limited time if that's the case then this is an immediate one star. I'll keep you updated.
  • (2024-02-25) OM SO (OmSo73): The app was working great, but it doesn't work anymore. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but no luck. I updated Chrome, no luck. I uninstalled Chrome and downloaded Chrome again, but still no luck. I had to find another app to make dictation work. Apparently, this extension works for a limited time.
  • (2023-11-23) CN MG: It's good, but doesn't allow swearing... estrange decision. Also, I don't know how to turn auto punctuation off. It's a pain
  • (2023-11-08) Leigh Ingerslew: It's a really cool idea. With more refinement and user practice, this could be great. However, I could not get it to cooperate. It made unintended corrections and misunderstood my corrections frequently enough that using it over another software doesn't seem worth it yet. Most importantly, I can't get it to work on Google Docs.
  • (2023-08-27) This extension works perfectly, I highly recommend it. You can dictate the text slowly. The application doesn't shut down. It waits for you to continue.
