Ervaar dicteren op het web van de volgende generatie met deze geavanceerde functies:
Automatisch bewerken door opnieuw te spreken
Corrigeer eenvoudig verkeerd verstaanbare woorden of zinnen, of herformuleer tekst door simpelweg opnieuw te spreken. Geen muis, toetsenbord of stemcommando's nodig. Speak! zal intuïtief de relevante tekst opzoeken en aanpassen, en indien nodig de interpunctie aanpassen.
Op deze manier kun je bijvoorbeeld eenvoudig de foutieve uitspraak "Vindt de politie [mijn applicatie]" corrigeren naar "Bijgevoegd vindt u", of "Liefde is alles wat we nodig hebben" herformuleren als "Alles wat je nodig hebt is liefde.".
Naast correcties kun je deze functie ook gebruiken om gedicteerde tekst op te maken. Maak woorden hoofdletter, zet zinnen tussen aanhalingstekens of haakjes, pas interpunctie aan en nog veel meer.
Intuïtief dicteren
Automatisch bewerken door herhalen maakt dicteren natuurlijker en gebruiksvriendelijker. Zoals bij elke nieuwe vaardigheid is er enige oefening voor nodig en kan het zijn dat uw bedoeling niet altijd perfect wordt geïnterpreteerd. Als je een onbedoelde bewerking maakt, zeg je gewoon "Vervanging ongedaan maken" of gebruik je Ctrl-Z (Cmd-Z op de Mac) om terug te keren.
Autocorrectie in realtime
Speak! corrigeert proactief veelvoorkomende spreekfouten in realtime, waardoor de communicatie vlotter verloopt.
Automatische interpunctie
Terwijl je dicteert of redigeert, wordt interpunctie automatisch toegepast en aangepast.
Automatisch aanpassen
Een nieuwe zin invoegen via dicteren? De omringende tekst wordt automatisch aangepast voor hoofdletters, overbodige woorden en interpunctie.
Automatisch schakelen tussen talen
Meertalige gebruikers, verheug je! Deze functie schakelt moeiteloos tussen talen op basis van de context, zoals de ontvanger in berichtenapps zoals WhatsApp.
Handige snelkoppelingen
Schakel dicteren moeiteloos in of uit met een dubbelklik in een tekstveld of op een leeg gedeelte van de webpagina. Je kunt ook een handige sneltoets gebruiken voor snelle toegang.
Gesproken opdrachten voor bewerken en opmaken:
Undo/Redo - maakt het laatst ingevoegde transcript of de auto-edit ongedaan.
Vervanging ongedaan maken of Correctie ongedaan maken - maakt de laatste automatische bewerking ongedaan en voegt het transcript toe als nieuwe tekst.
Opmaak: Gebruik commando's als "tussen aanhalingstekens", "tussen haakjes", "hoofdletters" en "allemaal in hoofdletters" om je spraak direct op te maken. Als je bijvoorbeeld zegt "tussen aanhalingstekens Indiana Jones", verschijnt de resulterende tekst als "Indiana Jones". Je kunt deze commando's ook gebruiken voor geselecteerde tekst.
Problemen melden en suggesties:
Een probleem tegengekomen? Selecteer de tekst, zeg "rapporteren" en er verschijnt een formulier waarin je het probleem in detail kunt beschrijven en relevante uitingen kunt toevoegen.
Emoticons met stem:
Druk jezelf uit met meer dan 50 emoticons, zoals "blij gezicht" voor 😊 of "grijnzend gezicht" voor 😁, met behulp van spraakopdrachten.

- (2024-10-08) Zac Hansen: YES!! I wanted something to dictate in Canva docs + for rapid AI prompting and this works great. Doesn't work sadly in Google Docs but Gdocs has a native speech to text thing so you don't really need one in Gdocs. This rocks, thank you for creating this.

You better be ready to speak what you want to without breathing or thinking. If you have just a little break in your flow, it stops sentence. Period. Whether it makes since or not leaving you to going back and having to edit out periods, capital letters and unwanted breaks. There should be a speed setting. People speak at different rates. Honestly, its the cant take a pause thing that got the app a 3 star. Its a deal breaker for me. Besides that. Its awesome!! I love I can double click on the page and it starts then another double click, its off. I can use it in SRW and Sales Force. (WFH) That will keep it in my computer until I find something I can take a breath and think using.

- (2024-08-05) Tim Heymans: I'm comparing this one with Voice In... Generally this one seems better, because of the autopunctuation and because it's completely free, without limitations. Voice In still has a few nice touches though, notably a sound that's played whenever you activate or deactivate the extension and the option for custom commands (paid). Possible improvements for Speak!: - Switch between more than 2 languages (I regularly write emails in 3 different languages) - Improve the autocorrect options - right now you need to be very fast with your correction in order for the software to recognize it as such. - a more extensive support & help section (explaining, for example, what the voice commands are in languages other than English).

Hopefully you'll make that possible soon. 🙏 A FEW THINGS I'D LOVE TO SEE: — A sound whenever the extension is activated/ deactivated. — The ability to create and store customized phrases. This would require signing up for an account. — Perhaps worth considering might be having a keyboard shortcut to toggle auto-punctuation. There are situations where I find it useful and others where I'd like to turn it off. ✅ DONE: I asked for the ability to switch back to English from Portuguese via a voice command and you fixed that. Before saying the next sentence. There has to be a way. For it to not place a period and start a next sentence each time I take a pause. This whole paragraph here. I wrote using this extension. As you can see, each time I paused It placed a period. Love it nonetheless

- (2024-02-25) OM SO (OmSo73): The app was working great, but it doesn't work anymore. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it, but no luck. I updated Chrome, no luck. I uninstalled Chrome and downloaded Chrome again, but still no luck. I had to find another app to make dictation work. Apparently, this extension works for a limited time.

- (2023-11-08) Leigh Ingerslew: It's a really cool idea. With more refinement and user practice, this could be great. However, I could not get it to cooperate. It made unintended corrections and misunderstood my corrections frequently enough that using it over another software doesn't seem worth it yet. Most importantly, I can't get it to work on Google Docs.
