  • (2023-09-04) Jose Landin: Extension worked well before, but currently is in need of an update to the manifest file to continue functionality.
  • (2022-02-25) Ashwin Elpula: NO LONGER WORKS
  • (2021-12-21) .: No longer works. I've used this using Linux and Vivaldi but it no longer responds. I don't mind the centered image but loathe (perhaps an understatement) the black background. I now use the "Getting Started Example" @ https://storage.googleapis.com/web-dev-uploads/file/WlD8wC6g8khYWPJUsQceQkhXSlv1/SVxMBoc5P3f6YV3O7Xbu.zip. I modified the color to white and it works well but I have to click a button to produce the background. I realize there are people with bigger problems than having to click a button, but I prefer the automatic nature of uncenterer
  • (2020-12-20) swordysan 01: No longer works, really hoping for an update, was great to have.
  • (2020-11-23) David H (Clonkex): EDIT 23/11/2020: Stopped working with Chrome 87 :( Thank you so much for this! It's completely stupid displaying the images centred on a black background. I use Chrome for work (web dev) and I need to be able to just view the images like a normal person instead of that dumb arty centring nonsense.
  • (2020-11-22) devodid: No longer works
  • (2020-11-21) mehmet oney: Guys you need to fix this. Extension doesnt work anymore, after the recent chrome update.
  • (2020-11-19) Was great until it suddenly stopped working. Haven't been able to find the issue and the lack of updates is worrying.
  • (2020-10-11) bobby decker: the best image vewer ever seen in my life i loved it can vew images on all sites keep this going forever and ever i give this 6 stars
  • (2019-03-19) It's broken again.
  • (2019-01-15) ashwin kumar: Extension stopped working and chrome started to recenter the webpage images .... please fix this
  • (2018-10-02) Nes370: This extension only seems to work when the image is opened to 100% zoom, any other setting and it reverts to the black background and centered format. I'm not sure if this is due to an incompatibility with another extension I've got or if it's due to a Chrome update.
  • (2017-12-10) Rose Supreme: Thank you so much! I've been wanting to bring back the old image tab setting for a while now but kept forgetting about it until now. This takes me back!
  • (2017-11-05) Gorlassar (EchoSeraphim): This stopped working! Please fix it! It didn't even work on every site to begin with :(
  • (2017-11-04) Hussein J: It stopped working suddenly. The images are showing in the center again. I hope you fix this soon.
  • (2017-10-19) PurpleHaze09: Loved it up until today when it stopped working. Chrome also just updated, so hopefully this app will be updated soon too.
  • (2017-07-15) P O: Does exactly what it says it does. Thank you so much, 5 stars. The option for it to also work with local files should be more clearly labelled in the options though - and a mention of it should be made on the main webstore page too, since this is easy to miss. Thanks !
  • (2017-06-15) Rhyme: I like having the images back in the left upper corner, but I wish it removed the ugly checker background from the transparent images as well.
  • (2017-04-09) Cheap Cars Finder App - Autopten: Thanks Devs! this one works, hate that black bg to see images.
  • (2017-04-06) Radek Juřica: Thank god there is something like that..
  • (2017-03-24) Chef Excellence: Why Google decided to imitate the failing Firefox with this strange, anti-minimalist anti-clean change, the world may never know.
  • (2017-03-19) Oviraptor: Works like a charm! At first I was a bit disappointed because it did take away the black background but the image was still centered. Then I realized the Pinterest extension is what was centering the image. It would be great if I didn't have to disable the Pinterest extension for this to work 100% but hey, I'd rather disable Pinterest than have all images centered on a black background. Totally recommend it!
  • (2017-03-15) Adrian Hawkins: The extension removes the black background, but will not uncenter the image. EDIT: Just figured out that the Pinterest extension is the cause of the image not uncentering. When disabled, the image uncenters like it should.
  • (2017-03-03) Tristan Wemm: Good, but doesn't always work fully. Some domains like Imgur work properly, but others like Tumblr will have the image re-center itself (though with a white border).
  • (2017-03-02) GIPeN: Thanks!!
  • (2017-02-27) Boris Motolik: Hermano! a big thanks for this saved me it was killing me Vdaka!
  • (2017-02-21) Anton Nameless: Works as advertised. Now would you please make an extension to help us revert back to non-material design? And get rid of Avatar button? And remove "Print" option from right-click menu when text is selected? And restore "Backspace" as the default hotkey for "Back" action? And... Wait. I guess it's time to change browsers.
  • (2017-02-15) Totori: Works perfectly! Edit: I found out that cTouch r5 made this extension not work. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ctouch-r5-filesystem/iemofinbkpbpamdjljafoheiaamajgdn?utm_source=chrome-app-launcher-info-dialog
  • (2017-02-13) Natalie Rogers: Excellent extension, works like a charm!
  • (2017-02-11) Jacob Baratta: As of the update to version 0.0.2 the extension now works perfectly with all image URLs, including the examples mentioned in prior reviews. This extension will not work by default in file:/// URLs (for local images on your computer), but you just have to enable the "Allow access to file URLs" checkbox in chrome://extensions under this extension to fix that (you can also enable the extension in incognito mode there). If you hate the new way images are displayed in Chrome and want to revert to the old way of displaying images, this extension is the solution!
  • (2017-02-10) Ecchi Bucket: apparently it doesn't work in every instance of an image being opened in chrome, but it works good enough for me! Thanks a bunch!
  • (2017-02-09) Elaine Seely: Thanks so much! Doesn't work with images sourced from your computer though (when you click and drag an img file into the browser). I hope you'll expand this -- you are the hero of Chrome users.
