It allows me to focus fully on my clients during complex cases, knowing that the extension is capturing everything to satisfy local and European legal requirements. The integration with Google Meet is seamless, and the AI summaries (broken down into Purpose, Takeaways, and Next Steps) are excellent. I particularly love the automated Action Items that can generate follow-up emails instantly. My only critique is that the AI sometimes struggles with strong Irish, Northern Irish, or Scottish accents, which occasionally requires me to edit the transcripts manually. The text formatting on exports could also be tidier. However, for the peace of mind and workflow efficiency it provides, it is an outstanding tool

- The level of out-of-the-box convenience that Fathom offers really impresses me. I take a lot of meetings where clients are either articulating their needs, or a business consultants is walking me through a bug, flow, or feature request. Instead of using half of my mental bandwidth trying to pay attention, and the other half trying to discern and note down the important details, I just join a meeting, and admit the Fathom notetaker into the call. It'd be great if calls were simply recorded, or the audio was transcribed, or the meeting was summarizes, but Fathom doing all of the above has really saved my skin in a couple circumstances. It's saved me from having to email the client again to reaffirm requirements, or having to pester business consultants into clarifying what the issue is. And it's all just through a browser extension and desktop app. I think I changed maybe one setting in my entire time of using it? It really just works, and it really is a life-saver.

- Can't tell you how much time this has saved me! But more than that, the notes are on point, well organized, and having over 20 hours of meetings per week, when I refer back to previous meetings - and I must - then I am on point and well organized and can forward everything having the proper context. Ps. I flirted with other AI notetakers. I'm very picky and price conscious. I want to get maximum value for my money, and I feel I do. I can't recommend it enough!

I simply click on the Fathom button in my Google Meet and it works without needing to look around or open other tabs or apps. The initial setup is straightforward; it's like even a toddler can get it done. Though everything is perfect, a converted short video or consolidated video of the complete call would be a great addition. - Fathom is simple and compatible. It works everywhere and you don't have to think about it (Mac, Windows, any browser, Zoom, Google Meet.....etc etc). The AI integration is superb. I love the "Ask Fathom" feature because I can ask it any question about what was said, when it was said, etc. during the call. It is very robust and resilient (e.g. if it does ever drop, a new agent is automatically sent into the meeting to pick up the call recording ASAP). And their is responsive from my one experience with them.
