  • (2025-09-12) Fernando Paiva: I installed this Chrome extension in the Edge browser and it’s working perfectly. So far, so good—furigana are showing up smoothly across Japanese webpages, making kanji reading much easier. Thanks for creating such a helpful tool!
  • (2025-06-03) Zoe (Professer): Love this extension. Was wondering if there was a way to get rid of the blue boxes when I hover my mouse over the text I'm trying to read?
  • (2025-06-01) Francis Pritchard: A really neat extension. Thank you for this.
  • (2025-05-03) Mike Sewell: Exactly what I was looking for, thanks for making it!
  • (2024-09-16) PF LH: Review for v2.1.0 Works well, by far the best plugin for adding furigana. 1 problem: it messes up the UI of twitch.tv I tried adding it to 'The following sites never add furigana' in the settings, but it still messes it up. [SOLVED] I put both twitch.tv & https://www.twitch.tv before, those didn't work. turns out you have to add www. without the https. Adding www.twitch.tv works well. Thank you for the response. Other than that, it's a solid plugin. Don't bother with the other ones if you want a free plugin that automatically adds furigana. this one is the best.
  • (2024-09-10) 李难封: The interface is very beautiful and easy to use
  • (2024-08-28) chu man: Can't even get it to write. I select the word and start typing... nothing. No tutorial on how else to do it either. Doesnt even work at all on google docs which is the only thing I wanted to work on anyway.
  • (2024-08-23) Victor Cazal: I’ve tried a couple of Furigana extensions before finding this one and didn’t like them because you had to click on the extension each time to add Furigana, whereas this one does it automatically if you configure it properly.
  • (2024-04-06) Zack Liezel: Why did you set it to only work on specific sites? Why doesn't it automatically detect kanji in any page so you don't have to manually add rules? Thanks for the response, I'm trying to make it work on youtube titles by adding rules, however it only work temporarily with the add furigana selector, I don't think it would be inaccurate or laggy to just detect japanese kanji characters on webpages. Am I wrong?
  • (2024-03-04) Nurlan Kalybekov: What about Google docs?
  • (2024-02-23) David Muñoz: Doesn't work
  • (2024-02-21) Tran Hung: The extension works rather well, except some kanji(s) which have more than 1 pronounce way, example 2022年2月, the kanji 月 is supposed to be がつ, but the extension shows つき. I think it's hard to fix, because it need to base on context to know which one should be showed. This website https://www3.nhk.or.jp/news/easy/ is doing perfect on that (yeah, they're Japanese), I don't know they do this by an automation app, or by manual editing, but very exciting if the extension could fix this point to perfect
