- The home button only removes content from the home page, but the button is still present in the sidebar. If you remove the button, everything will be better. "Hide Thumbnails" button only works on table mode, doesn't work on list mode. If you remove the thumbnails from the “Save to Playlist” box, the extension will be PERFECT!

- Works! I was looking for something like this because sometimes I want to browse news, politics, and current events, but I don't want to be tempted to go down the peanut gallery (aka "comments") rabbit hole. Now, if there was a little switch to "prevent replies", that might be a nice middle ground. The biggest waste of time is me responding to the gallery. With this little app, it's like putting the cookie jar on the top shelf. Not high enough to prevent me from getting it. But just out of reach so I'm forced to make a choice if I want it or not. Kudos to the author =)

- Does exactly what it says. Saves sanity, allows me to *** just watching the videos I search for ** rather than distractions like algorithmic slop or dopamine-addiction shorts, allows me to hide comments from people! Developer responsive, updated when youtube changed. Recommend!

- I installed this extension to hide me everything that distract me on YouTube, and it works very great! i can choose what i want to hide (shorts included) and i also can enable/disable the extension at any time. highly recommending for everyone. Feature suggestion: Add Show Dislikes option

- Flawless execution, even though shorts aren't hidden all the time (i.e. for search results) but it gets my main job done (hiding the search bar) so I cannot complain. one thing I'd suggest is password protection to make it harder to disable the settings I want there to be something for Google like this.

- The developer and therefore extension is unreliable. Alex (the developer) recently sold one of his extensions (Web Activity Time Tracker) to shady actors who ended up getting that extension unlisted from the Chrome webstore due to their modifications. Alex did not provide any warning or indication to us users aside from editing the README file in his repository and his GitHub profile. The vast majority of people don't visit a Chrome extension's GitHub page or the developer's profile, let alone with any regularity to see the warnings that were added. What he did was not an acceptable method to communicate a major ownership change. This is unacceptable, dishonest, and scummy behavior, and I have uninstalled this extension due to it. I would recommend anyone else do the same lest this extension go down the same road.
