CANDLEPIN-BOWLING (DÜNNE KEGEL)

Diese Variante wurde 1880 erfunden. Bowling mit Candlepins bietet eine große Herausforderung. Candlepins sind dünne Kegel, die unberechenbar umher fliegen und sich drehen, wenn sie getroffen werden. Kegel werden zwischen den Runden nicht geräumt, wodurch du sie auf andere still stehende Kegel stoßen kannst.

FÜNF-KEGEL-BOWLING

Diese Variante wurde 1904 in Kanada erfunden. Bei der Fünf-Kegel-Variante hat jeder Kegel einen anderen Punktewert. Spares werden hier strategisch eingesetzt, um die wertvollsten Kegel zu treffen. Ein astreines Spiel ergibt 450 Punkte!

NEUN-KEGEL-BOWLING (DEUTSCHES KEGELN)

Diese Variante wurde im Deutschland des Mittelalters erfunden. Die meisten Bowlingvarianten basieren auf der Neun-Kegel-Variante. Neun Kegel werden in einer Diamant-Formation aufgestellt mit einem "Kingpin" in der Mitte. Alle Kegel umzuwerfen erbringt 9 Punkte. Alle Kegel außer dem Kingpin umzuwerfen erbringt 12 Punkte!

DUCKPIN-BOWLING (KLEINE KEGEL)

Diese Variante wurde 1904 in New England erfunden. Sie benutzt fast die gleichen Regeln wie die Zehn-Kegel-Variante aber erlaubt 3 Runden, um alle Kegel umzuwerfen. Die Kugel und die Kegel sind kleiner, wodurch Präzision enorm wichtig für ein gutes Ergebnis wird!

EISENKEGEL-BOWLING

Diese Variante ist identisch mit normalem Bowling, bis auf einen zufälligen Kegel, der deutlich schwerer ist als die anderen. Sorgfältige Überlegungen sind gefragt, um den schweren Kegel umzuwerfen, während gleichzeitig auch die normalen geräumt werden sollen.

Galaxy Bowling verfügt über eine Option, mit der man die Varianten Candlepin (dünne Kegel), Duckpin (kleine Kegel), Fünf Kegel, Neun Kegel, Hundert Kegel und Eisenkegel kaufen kann. Die Zehn-Kegel-Variante und der Spares-Modus sind bereits enthalten.

Jamie L 2016-05-17: It is kinda easy to get strikes and spares, it gives you options to play different kind of bowling games, after you get all the different balls it gets kinda boring. It doesn't take long to get them all either. Not bad, you use your mouse to control the ball.

Jason Chamberlain 2013-08-30: The game is presented fairly well, though it is not quite as smooth as it maybe could be. Unlocking the various planet balls is fun and motivates you to keep going. The lanes are nice, though perhaps a bit too reflective. What I really liked were the various angles when the ball hits the pins. What I didn't like was how much I could control the ball with the mouse. It's pretty easy to get consistent strikes once you get the hang of using the mouse to hook the ball. It's not automatic, but bowling a 180 is not too hard. The thing I really didn't like was how the game handles the pin physics. One time I had a pin shoot about halfway back down the lane. Of course, in real life a pin will sometimes get beyond the reach of the rake, but it won't shoot way back down the lane. Another problem is that sometimes a pin would look like it was ready to fall, but the game had decided that it waited long enough and so it wouldn't count. Overall, this is a fun little game. It's hardly a bowling simulation, but it's fun.

Alan Hurst 2012-01-28: You can put a spin on the ball. The best I can do was 297. The program is a little bit buggy. Sometimes a pin is half standing in the gutter and the program doesn't count it down. I got screwed a strike when it does that. Over all a very entertaining and playable game. I recommend trying it.
