BOWLING CANDLEPIN

Inventato nel 1880. Il bowling Candlepin offre una grande sfida. I Candlepin sono birilli sottili che rimbalzano e girano in modo imprevedibile quando colpiti. I birilli non vengono rimossi tra round consentendoti di farli rimbalzare su birilli ancora in piedi.

BOWLING A CINQUE BIRILLI

Inventato nel 1904 in Canada. Nel gioco a 5 birilli, ciascun birillo ha un numero di punti diverso. I ricambi sono tentativi strategici per colpire i birilli più preziosi. Una partita perfetta si conclude con 450 punti!

NOVE BIRILLI (BOWLING TEDESCO)

Inventato nella Germania medievale, il gioco a nove birilli è ciò su cui la maggior parte dei giochi di bowling successivi sono basate. Nove birilli sono disposti a forma di diamante con un "birillo principale" nel mezzo. Abbattendo tutti i birilli si ottengono 9 punti. Abbattendo tutti i birilli eccetto quello principale si guadagnano 12!

BIRILLO DUCK

Inventato nel 1904 in New England. Il gioco con birillo duck adotta quasi le stesse regole di quello a 10 birillo, ma dà 3 turni per abbattere tutti i birilli. La pallaa e i birilli sono più piccoli rendendo la precisione molto importante per fare un buon punteggio!

BIRILLO DI FERRO

Il gioco con birilli di ferro è uguale al bowling normale, ma un birillo casuale è molto più pesante rispetto agli altri. Un'attenta considerazione deve essere fatta sul modo di abbattere il birillo pesante, liberandosi anche di quelli normali.

Galaxy Bowling ha un'opzione di acquisto Candlepin, Duckpin, Cinque birilli, Nove birilli, 100 birilli e birilli di ferro come varianti. Il gioco a dieci birilli e la modalità ricambi sono inclusi.

Jamie L 2016-05-17: It is kinda easy to get strikes and spares, it gives you options to play different kind of bowling games, after you get all the different balls it gets kinda boring. It doesn't take long to get them all either. Not bad, you use your mouse to control the ball.

Jason Chamberlain 2013-08-30: The game is presented fairly well, though it is not quite as smooth as it maybe could be. Unlocking the various planet balls is fun and motivates you to keep going. The lanes are nice, though perhaps a bit too reflective. What I really liked were the various angles when the ball hits the pins. What I didn't like was how much I could control the ball with the mouse. It's pretty easy to get consistent strikes once you get the hang of using the mouse to hook the ball. It's not automatic, but bowling a 180 is not too hard. The thing I really didn't like was how the game handles the pin physics. One time I had a pin shoot about halfway back down the lane. Of course, in real life a pin will sometimes get beyond the reach of the rake, but it won't shoot way back down the lane. Another problem is that sometimes a pin would look like it was ready to fall, but the game had decided that it waited long enough and so it wouldn't count. Overall, this is a fun little game. It's hardly a bowling simulation, but it's fun.

Alan Hurst 2012-01-28: You can put a spin on the ball. The best I can do was 297. The program is a little bit buggy. Sometimes a pin is half standing in the gutter and the program doesn't count it down. I got screwed a strike when it does that. Over all a very entertaining and playable game. I recommend trying it.
