  • (2023-09-12) Backup Ran: Not working anymore.
  • (2022-06-10) Tony Farnden: Readium was working fine up until last week. Now it cuts off each chapter at a single page so you can try to reduce the text size to the smallest it can go but then who can read that!
  • (2020-09-25) Sonia Daly: Amazing and great variety
  • (2019-12-27) Helan John: The images were never showing.
  • (2019-09-07) Gary Hughes: Nice epub reader. Does exactly what I want it to do. Easy to use, nice layout and good functionality.
  • (2019-05-11) Heleen Lammers: It's just great. It does exactly what I think it's supposed to do.
  • (2018-10-30) oldproji: I have been using Readium on Chrome for a year or so now and love it. Sadly, Google will be taking it down at some point before the end of the year (2018). A big mistake in my opinion. For my Ebook it is the perfect platform for viewing on a PC. If I have to ditch Chrome to get it on another browser, then so be it.
  • (2018-09-14) Rolz Wild: I think is the best, I love to look at my library before I start reading is simple and fast.
  • (2018-09-11) Is there a quick way to launch it? Every time when I am trying to open an app in my PC, I need to 1. click Top-right-> 2. Extensions-> 3. Find the app -> 4. Click 'View in chrome web store'-> 5. Click 'Launch App', that's really anti-humanity! Hope the PM of Chrome can do something to improve the UI. For this app. I love it.
  • (2018-09-05) Ray Ray: No search function?
  • (2018-07-03) Nick J: No highlighting was a deal breaker, unfortunately.
  • (2018-06-28) Juan Pascual: best epub app on chrome os. please update the icon and app to material design. loving the app keep up the good work.
  • (2018-06-25) Sebastian Saenz de Santa Maria: It works just fine! Quick access to your library and nice layout with a non-invasive table of content on the left.
  • (2018-06-21) Jereme C: One of the few free readers that support Epub3.
  • (2018-06-12) Ning Cao: good
  • (2018-06-07) Shiva Kumar: Excellent Reader Application for Chrome.
  • (2018-05-21) Navid Rahimi: Very good, but a better design and icons for that ugly topbar would make this extension *literally* perfect.
  • (2018-05-17) Bonnie “Dale” Keck: NOWHERE does it say if a book is deleted off the 'shelf' whether it is also deleted totally off the system; I don't want it totally off my system/gone, just gone off my shelf. There is a jumble of books now, and no way to tell if deleting them will totally delete them, something I do NOT want. People keep talking about voice with google chrome, but on chromebook this is also not mentioned in any detail {i.e. at all}. I used to be a computer tech, have several voice add ons, and have flipped one after the other one, only to have to go to the next one. This is a chromeBOOK so yes it uses chrome but it does not use windows, just apps/extenstions, and I need the vocal reading of epub. I keep seeing where the people over this program on the different chromes say they don't have enough people to deal with all the issues; chrome needs to GET people, then, because chromebooks have been out quite a while now, and chrome on windows or other operating systems, even android, is not the same as the ones for chromebook. The extensions/add ons/plug ins for chrome do not necessarily mean it's a something that can be added to chromeBOOK, only the newest ones are able to use those, and even with mine being brand new, it still is not letting me access the majority of choices except on my android tablet, but I want to use the chromebook, otherwise just what real use is it. Can't sort books on redium, have to jump through hoops to add books, delete books {and aren't even told if deleting book from readium completely takes it off whole system of just readium}, too many steps/special codes/keystrokes just to do the bare minimum of things. using Simple Epub Reader now, it DOES voice and does NOT fill up the app with books no way to get off except powerwash
  • (2018-04-10) Chin Yang Lee: One major drawback is can't scroll/flip/switch pages fast. The only way to change page fast is rapidly fire the left or right button. is it just me?
  • (2018-04-05) Deborah Farrell-Grinaker: Like the functions of Arabian Night (so much easier on the eyes) and to change font and type size. Please add even larger size for those of us with vision disabilities (20 type just not enough). Like the continuous scrolling option (1 page option). BUT the CT "jumps" (ahead &/or back) even when the touchpad is changed to its slowest sensitivity.
  • (2018-03-22) speedycatfish: Has all the functionalities that I need to comfortably read .epub files. Glad that they fixed the bug that didn't save the last page you were on.
  • (2018-03-21) Mike Martin: Now that they've fixed the bookmarking problem with the release of the 2.30.0 version of Readium, this is back to being an excellent epub reader. Thanks to the developers.
  • (2018-03-18) Alex S.: Doesn't open any .epub stored locally at computer, instead redownload it to default folder.
  • (2018-03-12) N George: Used Readium for ages, but last update appeared buggy. It refused to remember where you've got to and opened at the cover image every time, leaving you to tab through individual page by page to get back to where you left off. Fortunately the latest update has debuggered it and this nice e-book reader is back functioning as it should
  • (2018-02-26) Constantin Vorobyov: can't we just chose our RGB slider colours without mist and vanouver nights? lel text is too bleak with sand of dune. also picking own font would be good. trim blank spaces option can be applied (or better - regulate paragraph spacing option and indent)
  • (2018-02-07) Armands Jurševics: This version doesn`t remeber where I left off
  • (2018-01-12) Lydia MWH: buggy slow and dosnt store your last page
  • (2018-01-08) Stef: Doesn't store your place when you stop reading. Useless unless you want to read a book in one sitting.
  • (2017-12-19) Arian Ghobadi: Used to be a simple and great app. But with the last update it can't remember where was the page you left the book last time. Please fix it! This is the most important feature of a reader!
  • (2017-12-16) Lame Fanello: The app is good until i released you can't bookmark the page from where you stopped reading, and i can't seem to find the button.
  • (2017-11-28) S M: awesome thing! much better than android apps (i am using chromebook)
  • (2017-11-25) Lance Zimmer: It was keeping track of where I stopped reading something, but not anymore. That really needs to be fixed.
  • (2017-11-20) Christopher Price: Not as garbage as fb reader but the standard in e-reading is "saving where you left out" and this app fails at that.
  • (2017-11-16) Amli Amer: My pick for epub reader. Had one minor issue though; the app did not let me resume on my last page read as usual. Instead it brought me back to the cover page whenever I want to resume my reading. Any fix coming?
  • (2017-11-09) imperfect_tara: i thought it GIVES books not make you get some ugh and i need to read more so i hate it!
  • (2017-10-30) Žilvinas Klimantavičius: there is no search function
  • (2017-10-12) Kasie Gale: I love this app. Some glitches but way better than any other epub reader for your browser.
  • (2017-09-03) Tina Fusco: why when i powerwash my chromebook does it delete all my books i saved on readium? now i have to spend hours reuploading?
  • (2017-08-04) Manikandan D: This app Nice view in Epub
  • (2017-07-25) Bacon Catbug: No chance of giving us a way to save pages/document to PDF format? Or printing.
  • (2017-07-21) Dennis A. Thomsen: no search function and hard to access in newer version of chrome
  • (2017-07-18) Alipluss Ali: you are the best, thx :)
  • (2017-07-07) Borrell Fankam: The best reader for web/desktop available! Thank you guys! This has the best layout I've seen on any reader out at the moment. Even thought the UI could be better (iBooks is really nice) it still leaves the rest of the other readers in the dust.
  • (2017-07-03) Yan-Fa Li: Using it to view epubs of comic books, it works well for that use case. Would love it if it allowed you to sort the index of books by name.
  • (2017-06-03) Francisco Suazo: Finally an Epub reader that displays my ebooks properly
  • (2017-05-23) Rajender Singh Bisht: Good.
  • (2017-05-08) Simon van Velp: I tried lots of epub readers but this one is the bees knees. I read books with lots of pictures and tables (game-rulebooks etc.). It's been quite an hassle to find a reader that displays it all, is zoomable and does the table of content in the right way. This does it all. Except a decent search function, thus 4 stars because I'll manage with a table of contents.
  • (2017-04-30) 目标200斤: as a reading tool I just can't believe there's no bookmark available, and there's an annoying white strap at top of the screen.
  • (2017-04-24) Jaideep Singh: Love it. Simple Minimal & no Bullshit, Thanks developers.
  • (2017-04-21) Ramesh L: Perhaps the only decent web based ebook reader for Chrome. It has come a long way and looks more polished now. The only close competitor is Google Play Books, but you should upload your books first before reading, but this one, all you need is you just let the app open a local epub. Makes me read more on ChromeOS!
