Gblock schützt deine Gmail-Privatsphäre, indem es E-Mail-Tracker blockiert. Das Tracking durch Spionagepixel ist eine hinterhältige Technik, bei der ein unsichtbares 1x1-Bild, bekannt als „Tracking-Pixel“, in eine E-Mail eingefügt wird. Wenn Sie die E-Mail öffnen, sendet dieses Pixel Informationen an den Absender zurück, wie z. B. wann Sie die E-Mail geöffnet haben, wo Sie sich befanden und welches Gerät Sie verwendet haben. All dies geschieht ohne Ihr Wissen oder Ihre Zustimmung, was ein ernsthaftes Datenschutzproblem darstellt.

✔️ SCHUTZ VOR TRACKING-LINKS
Tracking-Links fügen benutzerdefinierte Tracking-Parameter zu URLs hinzu, wie z. B. "?utm_source=newsletter", oder betten einzigartige Tracking-Codes ein. Einige E-Mail-Marketing-Tools gehen noch weiter und verwenden URL-Kürzer, um das endgültige Ziel zu verschleiern, wodurch es unmöglich wird, die Tracking-Parameter zu entfernen. Genau wie Spionagepixel können Tracking-Links Ihre Standortdaten, Geräteinformationen und andere persönliche Informationen offenlegen.
Gblock schützt Sie vor Tracking-Links auf zwei Arten: Durch das Entfernen aller bekannten Tracking-Parameter aus URLs und durch die Nutzung unseres Proxy-Servers, der E-Mail-Links folgt, Ihre IP-Adresse maskiert und Ihre Aktivitäten vollständig anonymisiert. Unser Proxy speichert außerdem Antworten im Cache. Wenn ein Tracking-Link von mehreren Nutzern geteilt wird, kennen wir bereits das endgültige Ziel und können es direkt bereitstellen, ohne den Tracking-Link aufzurufen. Wir sind zuversichtlich, dass dies 99 % der Fälle abdeckt.

Die herkömmliche Tracker-Blockierung basiert auf statischen Listen, die ständig manuell aktualisiert werden müssen. Da sich Tracker jedoch ständig weiterentwickeln, ist dieser Ansatz veraltet. - A different extension I used to block pixel code in the past (PixelBlock) no longer works after the chome manifest V3 update, but Gblock does and it's even better! I was a bit surprised by the low number of users and ratings so (with the help of a little AI) I went over all of the code that goes into this extension, it fully checks out! I was a bit concerned by the proxy that receives URLs that you click on in emails (that is used to prevent tracking), so I contacted the developer and the next day there was a profile setting to turn it off (I only turned it off for my work account as it is a good feature to keep on). Great develper, great extension, highly reccomend! Out of curiocity I also checked the code of the other extension I used to use and Gblock does a better job, less chance of it missing trackers.
