Gblock protège votre vie privée sur Gmail en bloquant les traqueurs d’e-mails. Il empêche les expéditeurs de savoir quand, où, ou si vous ouvrez un e-mail, vous protégeant ainsi des pixels espions, des liens de suivi et des accusés de lecture. ✔️ PROTECTION CONTRE LES PIXELS ESPIONS
Le suivi par pixel espion est une technique sournoise qui consiste à ajouter une image invisible de 1x1 pixel, appelée "pixel de suivi", à un e-mail. Lorsque vous ouvrez l'e-mail, ce pixel envoie des informations à l'expéditeur, révélant des détails tels que le moment où vous l'avez ouvert, où vous étiez, et quel appareil vous utilisiez. Tout cela se fait sans votre connaissance ni votre consentement, ce qui en fait un problème sérieux pour votre vie privée.

✔️ PROTECTION CONTRE LES LIENS DE SUIVI
Le suivi des liens consiste à ajouter des paramètres de suivi personnalisés aux URL, comme "?utm_source=newsletter", ou à intégrer des codes de suivi uniques. Certains outils de marketing par e-mail vont encore plus loin en utilisant des raccourcisseurs d'URL pour masquer la destination finale, rendant impossible la suppression des paramètres de suivi. Comme pour les pixels espions, les liens de suivi peuvent révéler votre localisation, les détails de votre appareil, et d'autres informations personnelles.
Gblock vous protège des liens de suivi de deux manières : En supprimant tous les paramètres de suivi connus des URL, et en utilisant notre serveur proxy pour suivre les liens des e-mails, masquant ainsi votre adresse IP et anonymisant totalement votre activité. Notre proxy met également en cache les réponses, donc si un lien de suivi est partagé entre plusieurs utilisateurs, nous connaissons déjà la destination finale et pouvons la servir directement sans accéder au lien de suivi. Nous sommes confiants que cela couvre 99 % des cas.

Le blocage traditionnel des traceurs repose sur des listes statiques nécessitant des mises à jour manuelles constantes. Cependant, les traceurs évoluent rapidement, rendant cette approche obsolète. Gblock adopte une approche plus intelligente avec la détection automatique des traceurs. Au lieu de s’appuyer sur des listes prédéfinies, notre logique avancée identifie et signale dynamiquement les nouveaux traceurs en temps réel.

- A different extension I used to block pixel code in the past (PixelBlock) no longer works after the chome manifest V3 update, but Gblock does and it's even better! I was a bit surprised by the low number of users and ratings so (with the help of a little AI) I went over all of the code that goes into this extension, it fully checks out! I was a bit concerned by the proxy that receives URLs that you click on in emails (that is used to prevent tracking), so I contacted the developer and the next day there was a profile setting to turn it off (I only turned it off for my work account as it is a good feature to keep on). Great develper, great extension, highly reccomend! Out of curiocity I also checked the code of the other extension I used to use and Gblock does a better job, less chance of it missing trackers.
