A MESSAGE TO OUR COMMUNITY

Dream Afar was originally published nearly a decade ago as a passion project, serving thousands of users who made it part of their daily browsing experience. In 2018, due to personal circumstances, I was unable to continue active development, leaving issues like the weather widget unfixed in 2019 and preventing me from adapting to Chrome Web Store policy changes and manifest upgrades. This ultimately led to the extension being taken down from the store in 2020. During this time, several unauthorized copies appeared using our name and logo, which was difficult to see from afar. This year, my daughter decided to honor the legacy of Dream Afar by bringing it back to life. She has spent months completely redesigning and rewriting the extension from the ground up with modern technologies and a beautiful new glassmorphic interface. This is the initial release of the reborn Dream Afar—a fresh start built with the same spirit of creating a peaceful, inspiring new tab experience. We sincerely apologize for the years of inconvenience and want to thank every one of you who supported the original version and waited for its return. Your patience and love for this project made this comeback possible.
