• (2020-10-01) Ethan Oravsky: cant search anything at all only pasted in urls from other browsers i use chrome to send school work files from my personal account to my school account and now i can even get into the google search page this makes it very difficult to turn in my assignments on time as i am still trying to find ways to send my work. This Extension is not in anyway helpful. The school laptops that my district sent out are slow as is but this makes my zoom/team meetings much slower as it eats up my ram and skyrockets my cpu usage i take ASL as a class so it is very important to have clear performance as he only talks to us through sign. I understand that this meant for content filtering and to monitor what student search/ do with their school laptops but this is more unhelpful than helpful

But it is not used for identifying specific users. - Uses a concerning amount of RAM and may slow down performance. - Seems unfunctional at times and has lack of a UI from a student standpoint. - Should mainly be used to find out what students are using on their school provided device in order to budget software accordingly. Review This extension was automatically installed on my school device (which is not a problem, they own it), but the extension is not set up/is working properly. When I click on the little icon it just shows a blank box. According to the website, it is used to collect data about how students are using their laptop but it does not identify each individual student. It may help schools budget software to things that students are actually using, compared to everything they are provided. This extension also uses a large amount of RAM and may slow down computer performance, depending on the specs of your device, which is slightly concerning.

I also can just use e school to check my grades) 3. the app don't work, I can't see my any of my grades. However it does block more games....which is dumb.. School shouldn't block harmless games, they should block porn and fake new sites that can easily can a kid's option on something. I understand game can distract from work but what about free time? Some kids don't have a book to read or extra work. and yes some game should be block if they use porn or extreme violence (example: A fully undress girl or someone cutting off someone realistic head ) but most of the games they block are harmless like animal jam which is a Educational game aim at children....do i need to explain?!
