Tried blocking a term on wildcard, keycard, or both. Still got constantly recommended videos that literally had that exact term in the title. A friend recommended this to me, and it seems to work for him. It seems as though people either love it, or it just doesn't work for them. These glitches need to be ironed out.

I've cleared all youtube history and data that may have contained the words (even though I have never directly searched for those words, because obviously I don't want to see that content). I have also made sure to add uppercase and lowercase variations of all the words, and add each word as a channel, keyword, and wildcard. I do not want to see anything related to a baby. Yes, I know this apparently makes me a monster. I have my reasons. After all this, the first video that pops up has the word baby in both its channel name, and video title. Thanks a lot.

  I just installed the extension to block youtube videos on my son's computer. He's watching during class and not paying attention to his teacher. I installed the extension (current version is 6.3) and it didn't work when I went to YouTube. I then disabled the "Automatically allow access on the following sites" because Youtube was in the list, which would defeat the purpose of the extension. Still didn't work. I then enabled "Allow in incognito" and that changed nothing. So, I uninstalled the broken extension.

  I just left a message stating that this does not work at all, and here are two more points - one is that the chosen video does NOT disappear, but the view in the screen simply changes, but it has the same title. also, when I check, your app shows nothing at all on the list of blocked channels, even though I have right click chosen the block videos from this channel several dozen times. I get the line when I right click. then i cursor to it and left click it and the window that opened with the right click disappears, but absolutely nothing changes.

  When I use it to block a channel, the only thing that happens is that one single video disappears from the suggested list. ALL other videos from the channel I want to block still show. so it simply blocks (temporarily or permanently, I am not sure) the one video, and if the channel has hundreds of videos, it would take all morning ... plus, for all I know, the block of each individual video may not last. The line I choose after right clicking states it blocks the CHANNEL, not the video, but all that is blocked is the one video. I am on Windows 7.

  This is perfect for my needs, most blockers for YouTube are cumbersome as you have to whitelist what you want but to be honest I am not too worried about that, what I need is to be able to block certain things. The perfect YouTube blocker would allow me to enter a password so I can override the settings if I wish (optional but useful for when everyone uses one account on the computer as we do). The ability to set "kid only content" the ability to block certain key words and lastly a timer with or without forced breaks. I appreciate that this is a free app but if you could include any or all of those things it would be ace, the timer being the most important one I think. Thanks.

  Hello!! I am contacting because I installed the extension in my Chrome browser. First I wanted to block a specific youtube channel but i did it by going to the option Quick key add and entered the full URL of the channel. Also the Option Channel selected. After that I have not been able to see any recommended videos on youtube on the right side bar at all. I have now tried every possible way: deactivating the extension, restarting browser and computer and even deleting the extension and reinstalling it again, but yet no videos will be shown at all. Even the autoplay function is not working at all. What did I do wrong to creating this issue, that still persists even if I deinstall the extension? How is now this issue permanent in my browser? I would really be happy for any kind of answer. Thank you for your attention.
