That means most websites just drive me nuts with all the video (I am looking at YOU Google, on my Pixel newsfeed!). This was what I wanted. It stops all of the nonsense, and provides a simple link to actually play the video if wanted. "It just works!" Hats off to the developer(s). Highly recommended.

However, recently, many of the videos on CNN.com autoplay despite this extension being active. Pretty obnoxious when you aren't expecting video and audio to kick in and you get blasted by both. Behavior seems to have changed in the past few days.

• (2020-08-22) Brantlee Spakes Richter: I've been running this for about a year and totally 5-star happy with it, but then facebook pushed their new layout and it stopped working on facebook. It still blocks the videos; you just can't release the block when you actually do want to watch one. Better than not stopping them, but the whole idea is to be able to choose which ones I want to watch and when, rather than having the platform decide. If it has to be all-or-nothing, I'll stick with nothing, but I'm hoping the next version has a fix for whatever shenanigans facebook is pulling.

  I can't see comments. I can't see suggested vids (any). It won't load my subscription feed or favorites or anything. I'm in Brave Browser though I don't know why that would matter. It worked fine before in this browser. This just started. Maybe with an update to Chromium engine or on Youtube's side. Hope it can be fixed. I really haven't missed the video channels its been blocking.
