ViewImage adds the "Search by Image" and "View Image" buttons back to the google images results page.

I cannot figure out how to invoke it. If I see an image I like, a right-click does nothing. If I open the extension manually, I get only the settings windows. And the settings windows are not at all obvious to use. If you change a setting, then you have to "x" the window which seems like cancel to me. I could not tell whether I'd changed the options or not. There is no documentation I can find on how to use it. A lot of people may like it, but for me it was frustrating and unusable. I notice that even the people who supposedly like it are still complaining about clunkiness. E.g. "Pressing 'Open image in new tab' seems to be the only way to center images." This sounds like a hassle to me. Try something else is my advice.

Works well for me on images.google.com, but doesn't seem to work when google suggests images at the top of a regular google search (even though it's the same UI)

No longer works. The button will disappear after a second. Can't really blame the developer. This is entirely Google's fault and it's anti-consumer campaign. This coupled with the upcoming removal of Ublock Origin is too much. Uninstalled and back good old Firefox.

Recently (as in, maybe the past couple of months) the "View Image" button only appears for a second before disappearing. I assume this is Google screwing around with stuff because they *really* don't want you to just be able to click images without visiting the page. This is in Chrome, by the way: Version 131.0.6778.87

Works fine in Chrome, but for some reason it only appears for a split second in Brave. If you're using a Chromium-based off-shoot and it's not working for you try Chrome.

Takes a couple seconds to load the button but it works. It would be nice to have an option to link the preview image directly to the image as well.

As for april 23 2024 it works, but not for every site. It works when you can [rightclick]-[open image in new tab]. It doesn't work when the image that you open in new tab doesn't load in its original resolution. Tried "Google Images Restored" extention, it works there.

Works good most of the time, but not all images give you the "View Image" button to click. I still recommend this to use as it saves time.

'Search By Image' is missing, probably thanks to the chrome update. That is a very useful feature we've lost (again!). View Image is working OK though. Jan 2024 update: Great to see the view image button working again. Brilliant extension, thanks for updating it.

Why, following the update, is it now asking for permission to "read and change your data on all goocatgle.rs sites"? That domain doesn't even exist (check on any DNS lookup service).
