- Have been musing for 6 months. IT seems to be working well. The one bug is for certain institutions (financial for one) you have to turn the vpn off or the connection can not be made. Also, and this may be connected to the aforementioned, when using Nordpass, access to a cite can not be gained. You have to logon the conventional way.

- This extension could be used to override your local nordvpn country to another one, so you could do a hacky split tunnel for your MacOS. But since April 2026, this trick no longer works, and still there's no split tunnel in NordVPN, this is very sad given competitors offer this functionality while NordVPN couldn't resolve this for 2 years+.

- Mostly does everything I need. I do not like that it sometimes disconnects if my internet connection is interrupted and it does not give me a clear indication. I get used to always having it on. Then, it randomly disconnects and I still think I am protected because that is my default. How about a warning when the VPN is not connected...especially if I am visiting an https protected site. Hate that I have to write this in a review to convey this.

- The VPN itself is passable and mostly does what it’s supposed to do. But the extension is awful: it pops up for no reason, interrupts my browsing, and feels more like malware than a security tool. I’m pissed off and honestly disgusted by how obnoxious this experience is.

- Normally very very good, but for the last few weeks (April 2026) Threat Protection has been letting ads and pop ups right on through, even after re-connecting or re-installing and other similar troubleshooting methods. Ads everywhere!

- amazing extension !!!! also use the android app on my quest 3 and its also amazing... its persistent so I don't have to reconnect when I put the headset to sleep.... also the nord vpn extension for all my browsers chrome, brave, firefox and it is also persistent so when the mac goes to sleep I don't have to reconnect and renegotiate with BBC iPlayer to get it streaming again... it works 90% of the time, the other bit I have to clear cookies and re login again... but no issues with this... im a long time nord customer 3 years going strong!!!

- Starting a few days ago I'm finding the extension for Chrome on Mac is terribly slow to react. I have to press the server name and the disconnect button several times before it reacts to my commands. I have reset the Nord extension permissions in Chrome, no change I have the latest builds for both Chrome and Nord and mac os Tahoe 26.4.
