• (2023-11-05) Artemy Kozodaev: Отличное расширение. Не работает в РФ, потому что изначальную статью Wikipedia редиректит на сайт wikiwand, который работает только с VPN. Тут спрашивать надо с Роскомнадзора, а не занижать оценки. Отсутствие прямой ссылки на "заблокированный ресурс" не гарантирует его доступность(вспомните опыт блокировок твиттера, когда не работал еще с десяток других сайтов)

• (2023-09-06) Travis Wohlrab: Used this extension for many years and appreciate the devs' work but the most recent update has pushed way too much clutter to the top of the page. Using a 1440p screen I have to scroll just to see the intro paragraph. The article image is massive. I also don't see a way to enable the previous interface which was much preferred. Going back to wikipedia=old for now.
• (2023-09-06) Steve C: I should have rated this extension YEARS ago. Only here now because for some reason it stopped working completely. Wikipedia no longer reverts to Wikiwand. Hope that gets fixed soon! Dark Mode (why is the default always white with most webpages) is essential to my eyes! :)

When I tried to either open it or follow a link to it, I got this: ("Message":"An error occurred and the request could not be processed.","Type":"Service") So, for the first time I had to remove it from Chrome, clear the cache, cookies and browser history, reboot and then reinstall Wikiwand from the Chrome Web Store. I figured getting a fresh installation of the latest version would solve the problem. It didn't. I still get: ("Message":"An error occurred and the request could not be processed.","Type":"Service")

The inability for the extension to fall back to regular wikipedia when their own website goes down is also infuriating. My only option is to just uninstall the extension.

This has significantly levitated my Wikipedia experience, from a great dark mode, to its brillent customisability and clean UI that keeps the content front and center. The UI refresh just makes the best even better, and I'd even say I enjoy reading Wikipedia much more and even as entertainment with the addition of this amazing extension.   Currently you have a 'Read on Wikipedia' option in your menu, which I sometimes use when I want the familiar interface (as a new user who doesn't yet have full confidence in your app I often want that). It's useful, but after I use it to switch to the original interface, every navigation within Wikipedia takes me back to Better Wikipedia. It would be nice if the setting was a little more sticky, e.g. internal links within Wikipedia wouldn't redirect to Better Wikipedia, or you allow switching for the entire session, etc. The way it currently works made me disable your extension entirely before I really gave it a chance.

  I found content from a http://resources.crossrider.com/apps/30846/resources/meta/0 being loaded/stored across all domains, which results in a mixed content warning on any SSL session. I have identified your extension as the source of this untrusted/insecure content. I suspect it is intended for some form of usage tracking/analytics, but I did not opt-in to any data collection based on using this extension. Furthermore, since the mixed-content mode subverts the security and privacy of SSL connections, I must remove this extension until it can behave properly.
