  • (2025-07-03) Eric Goldstein: Perfect - great job. Wish it could allow you to export out and import (for multiple profiles), but outside of that, really like.
  • (2025-07-03) Kerem S: It could be best from similar other if it had options for group of extensions. Example when I am gaming I need activate the 5 extension, and when I work on research I need 12 ext and I don't others. I don't want to select and deselect one by one.
  • (2025-07-02) Kyle K: What a great idea. Super easy to set up! Give us something outside of PayPal or crypto option for donations please.
  • (2025-06-13) yasin arafat: this extension is the king of the all extensions.
  • (2025-06-03) Bon Bao: okay 👍 hay
  • (2025-05-31) Game Account: Pretty damn good but the Favorites and Grouping thing isnt working for extensions enabled or something. i do want the Favorites function to work real bad!
  • (2025-05-17) Daniel Connelly: This is THE BEST extension for this purpose. The developer really listened to the users on this one when adding profiles. I left another extension that was somewhat broken and had not implemented profiles. My browser runs like new now that I have disabled all of the one-off extensions I rarely use. Thanks so much for your great work on this extension!
  • (2025-05-10) Arnold James McCoy: Very Useful. A must have!
  • (2025-04-26) **Update Sept 27, 2024** Windows seems to have changed something and now the GUI is dark like my overall dark theme. I'd like a switch to let us toggle on/off dark mode for our extensions, or for this one because its harder to read now. As for the new updates to Chrome. The Extensity icon has reverted to the generic Chrome one (it looks like a blue puzzle piece). I don't know why. I've uninstalled, dumped my cache and rebooted, re-installed and still I get the ugly generic icon showing up for Extensity. Its confusing because other Chrome functions which use the same generic icon, I have to hover the mouse pointer to find out which is which because stupidly enough they sometimes move or disappear, so I never know which ones are left running...

  • (2025-04-24) David Meikle: I use many Chrome extensions based on my workflow, general use, and entertainment, and managing them used to be a hassle. I had to go through Chrome settings just to enable or disable extensions. Extensity changed that completely. With just one click, I can quickly enable the extensions (profiles) I need and disable the ones I don’t, helping my browser run smoother and faster — more efficiently in general. Also, some extensions can interfere with each other or slow down your browser, which can be frustrating. This helps to reduce the struggle by letting me quickly swap out the extension I need or do not need at a given moment. If you use several extensions, Extensity is a must-have tool that saves time and improves your browsing experience.

  • (2025-04-20) Jimmy: Great idea👍
  • (2025-04-16) Anthony Capobianco: It just works
  • (2025-04-02) Harvey Sheehan: does it work with school extensions that they wont let you remove?
  • (2025-04-01) Dean-Ryan Stone: I've been using this forever (in Vivaldi), but haven't clicked on it for a while and it now doesn't appear to work. Using Vivaldi 7.3. Click the icon and all you see is a smaller picture of the icon underneath, no list of apps. Is it broken now?
  • (2025-03-29) Webserv solutions: very good product for bulk messanger
  • (2025-03-13) Simon: Solid extension, use it every day.
  • (2025-03-08) Brandon: Amazing!!! Such a great idea and executed very well. --------------------------- I have only one suggestion: --------------------------- It would be great if you allowed combinations of profiles instead of only activating one set at a time. For example I could normally uses profile "Base", and when I watch youtube switch to profile "Youtube". But if I want my normal "Base" extensions active during "Youtube" I have to duplicate the selections in each profile, and if I ever change "Base" I have to duplicate those changes into all of the other profiles that build on top of "Base". But if the profiles could be active at the same time I only have to configure "Base" one time, and I can easily switch between different stacks of extensions in different situations without worrying about making a ton of profiles that have different combinations but share the same core extensions. --------------------------------------- Thank you so much for your hard work!! ---------------------------------------

  • (2024-12-14) Zaki: One of the essential extension to have in your browser.
  • (2024-12-07) Doruktan Erkan: It's a useful and handy extension.
  • (2024-12-05) Cat Haverback: This one ticked all my boxes for a good extension: solves a problem, works as advertised, intuitive UI, open source, privacy pledge. Being able to switch among multiple customizable configurations (ie "profiles") puts it over the top.
  • (2024-11-22) Belay Mulat: Among the best chrome extensions ever!
  • (2024-11-14) Oleg Kovtun: A very useful extension if you need to enable or disable other extensions frequently. Request for the developers – please add an option to pin/unpin 🙏
  • (2024-10-29) Bryan: The best extension out there. I give it a 9.8/10. The only missing are subfolders.
  • (2024-10-28) Fanqin Zhou: marvelous!
  • (2024-10-22) Wall 17: simply a GOAT extension
  • (2024-10-17) Rachid Ackerman: Helpful
  • (2024-09-28) Ryszard Broda: Super
  • (2024-09-23) L.A H: its does exactly what it says. easy, simple, and ridiculas chrome doest already do this...
  • (2024-09-14) Johnr: i like it.. only because Chrome and Brave dont have a simple on off button to easy access. its always burred in the chrome extensions panel. and good that you gave a sort feature and can turn them on off from there. really good. It is The Common sense that all add up and make a difference.
  • (2024-09-12) Colin S: Brilliant. Or used to be. I'm on Brave and switching between profiles used to immediately disable/enable extensions. Now it doesn't. Hmm.
  • (2024-09-05) George Hanna: I love this app, the only thing it's missing is the ability to add personal notes or keywords next to each app, so that it's easyier to search for or remember what each app does. But thank you this is a great app.
  • (2024-08-29) wa da: Nice. It's getting updated again. We need dark mode.
  • (2024-07-27) Mihiro D: It works until it doesn't...which will be no later than January 2025. At that time Google will shut down all extensions that have been abandonded/not updated to make them compatible to MV3 (you'll notice this warning if you visit your extension settings page in Chrome). But like the reviewer just below HR, this is what happens when security and more are not a concern for your product.
  • (2024-07-27) Google User: I am not a fan of extensions which haven't been updated regularly. This is one. It hasn't been updated since 2021 (read the details of the extension and you'll see the date). It's too bad people don't read anymore or just cherry pick what they want. Recently, many "abandoned" extensions have been hijacking your browser or settings. There are fake versions of the originals too. And Google doesn't seem to care.
  • (2024-06-23) Henk Heidstra: I feel bad for the people accepting such low standards in extensions and it's poor maintenance (read: abandoned) to keep it performant, or preferably by keeping to make it a better product. The idea behind creating this extension, creating a solution for a problem that users find very useful and to create a better Chrome experience, slowly turned into the opposite for those who endured problems due to security issues due to the cause of not maintaining it. For the people reading: You deserve better! Totally agree with the feedback below me, until I realised 4 stars were still given. I'm not one of those though, but it would be foul to give a 1-star rating, although in the best interest of the rest-to protect them from malicious activity from using this now-, giving a positive score would be wrong in my opinion. Safety is the most important thing at the end of the day I believe! Please notify your users when development has stopped, and the project could be seen as deprecated and to be used on own risk. Otherwise I thank you for the inspiration that made me decide to make my own version, instead of just a rant. Do understand it's to protect others, because this still has great use, where I hope it might get picked up again. In the end we don't know what the reason for stopping the development on this was, nor do you owe the rest to support it forever, but notifying (new) users its deprecated, shouldn't be too much work for you!
