McAfee SiteAdvisor for Mac beschermt uw Mac tegen online bedreigingen wanneer u websites bezoekt.
De software controleert elke site die u bezoekt, valideert de veiligheidsclassificaties en zal de site volgens de configuratie toestaan of blokkeren.
McAfee SiteAdvisor for Mac biedt veiligheidsclassificaties op twee niveaus. In de browser toont de software:
• een pictogram met de veiligheidsclassificatie voor elke site in de zoekresultaten
• een knop met de veiligheidsclassificatie voor elke site
De toegang tot kwaadaardige sites die schadelijk kunnen zijn voor uw Mac, wordt standaard geblokkeerd.
Deze extensie wordt geleverd door McAfee en werkt samen met het McAfee LiveSafe-product.
