When I first turned on the extension, nothing happened. I turned it back off, reloaded the page, then turned it back on. And it works! So its really wasting my time. Anyways, I gave this extension a 4/5 because people really seem to like it and it does work on other websites. • (2021-11-10) Darren Dunavan: A few years ago a friend used the Open Dyslexic font on a powerpoint for kids camp. She is a teacher and said that she always uses it in her classed because you never know who it may benefit. When i saw it i was instantly in love!! Since then i had totally forgotten about the font until last week. I opened the YouVersion Bible app and it said that i had a new font suggestion to install... It was the Open Dyslexic font. I literally cried. This font really is a game changer for dyslexic folks (or at least for me!) Someone told me that i could get an add in on Google Chrome and BAM!!! here i am!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this!

• (2021-01-22) Milo G: The extension works well! not in a google do though. Although if I want a google doc to be in this font a lot of the time I can just ctrl+a and select the open dyslexic font. It'd be nice if it worked on teacher owned documents too though. I like the font, it makes it easier for my eyes to hold on. I don't have dyslexia, but I do have adhd.

• (2019-09-14) Ognjen Ugljenović: Sometimes it implements well and sometimes id doesn't. It depends on the article/page. One of the things that might be REALLY usefull if the First letter of the first word of a sentence is distinct (bolding or changing colour). This might not be universal but it helps me a lot and I think it would help other people too. Making it a toogle would be awesome. Thank you guys for this awesome extension

• (2019-03-24) I love this font so much!! i have been have a little trouble using it though, the first problem was that the curser was off just a little bit so typing is imposable. Another thing was that when i used to extion on google docs it cut off the words on the end on the page. if those things could be fixed it would be perfect.

  On this example page: https://developers.google.com/fit/rest/v1/reference/users/dataset/aggregate there is a left side menu, which shows text instead of icons while using the extension. An example element is the menu hider icon on the bottom of the left column: <span class="material-icons devsite-book-nav-toggle-icon"></span> which has the following css: .material-icons { font-family: 'Material Icons'; but now, it is overriden by the extension. Could you please add support to the https://fonts.google.com/icons ? Or is this project open source on a git where i can make a pull request?

  Good evening, I've noticed that my extension has stopped working and no longer updates the font to a Dyslexic friendly one. Is there a way to fix this? Is there any apps or programs that affect it's usability? I have it added to my desktop which is up to date with windows and a vast majority if not all of my programs. If you have any ideas to fix this, I'd be greatly appreciated! I'm about to reset my computer, defrag it, and see if there's any pending updates even if they're small ones. I love your product and as someone with dyslexia, it helps immensely with headaches and eye-aches due to straining to read, so this definitely isn't a review more than it is a seemingly odd one-off happenstance in hope of some suggestions.   Lots of sites use symbol-fonts for icons and having the font replaced, such as what is done with this extension, leads to the icons becoming boxes. (Try outlook.com; the icons at the top on the right.) If there is some way to have the extension logically avoid those sorts of fonts that would be great. Alternatively, if there was an option to bind a keyboard shortcut to turning on and off the extension, that would be better than having to use the mouse to open extensions and flip the switch through the gui.

  This extension works really well with near every email client. My corporate email uses Office 365/Outlook and this extension alters everything but the actual email contents. It changes the sender, the addressee, the title, and the senders signature, but the contents of the email itself aren't effected. I think the extension may need greater compatibility with 365 but I'm not a developer so I'm not sure if compatibility is the issue.

  The tick symbol has no space and overlaps previous character. This behaviour is not the same as when the font is used directly from the computer. It seams the `tick` symbol is used as an accent modifier in this extension.
