  • (2023-11-25) Lowell Ramsey: So I've been using Tabli for an hour or two, and I love it. I've had several hundred tabs open for a long time, and Tabli is escorting me out of tab hell, just like Antony says! The concept of converging bookmarks and tabs into one UI is the best. Chrome has ignored bookmark hygiene for way too long. Kudos to Antony for starting to clean up an Exxon Valdez-sized mess!
  • (2023-10-04) Rupert Allan: Really nice and simple, and allows quick renaming/access/reorganization without being overkill or clunky. Would just love the ability to change keybindings!
  • (2023-09-14) Prav Ma: Love that it gives me a tab list separated by windows. Searching it and having it be separated by windows is great. I just wish Chrome offered extensions an API for virtual desktops so Tabli could go a level higher.
  • (2023-09-13) Wize B: 3 stars, its SO BASIC compared to others Ive tried like 20+. Tabli has only like 5 pref settings compared to 25+ on what I normally use. Do you people struggle with 50 tabs? 😂 Try 100-300 tabs open at once! Tabli is smooth, but for kids 🤓
  • (2023-08-23) Aubrey Portwood: Crashed a few times on me.
  • (2023-07-21) Andrew park: It meets most of my requirements for a tab manager. Only a few things needed to improve: - I want to read the whole title of a tab in popup, so please enable the window size to its maximum or multi-line items. - I want to search a tab from the top level, so I hope that whenever opening the popup window the initial view only shows windows not tabs. update: There is a bug in scrolling. When viewing tabs using key DOWN, the view will only update once reaching the next window description. If the current window description contains too many tabs, I have to use the mouse.
  • (2023-06-25) P Harris: After trying some more complicated ones, I've settled on this and am happy! It's simple but very beautiful. I had a hard time stomaching the other ones that were so ugly and complicated that they drew my attention away from the task at hand. This one is great and easy to deal with all the way around. Workona deleted all my tabs and prevented them from showing up in Chrome history, so that was catastrophic. I decided to dial it down and this is sustainable.
  • (2023-06-21) Sum One: It's simple, but also just what I need...
  • (2023-06-01) 石川雅也: 数多くのタブ管理拡張機能の中でも一番使いやすかった。 あとは以下の機能が付くと、今のところ chromeでは完璧です。 - chromeの "Name Window ..." (ウインドウに名前を付ける...) で設定したウインドウ名に対応 - chromeの "Tab Group" に対応 - Window名とタブの保存、別PC上の Chromeで呼びだせる
  • (2023-05-23) Dan Whaley: I use this nearly every minute of every day. You should create a way to have people support you.
  • (2023-05-06) Cl-lERRY (KIDW T): シンプルな設計なので、取っ付き易い。動作も十分に早い。 これを選んで正解だった。とりあえず「Ctrl + .」
  • (2023-04-17) Colm Malone: Been using this extension since day one. Brings sanity to my 50+ tabs mayhem. Keep up the excellent work!
  • (2023-04-04) Peter Kingswell: I’ve been using Tabli for *years* and it’s always remained stable, efficient, focused (i.e. no addition of bloating unrelated features) and fast. I love the instant search box, I love saved windows (although it’s a clunky experience :) ), I love how it stores its windows in a special bookmarks folder: Other Bookmarks → Tabli Saved Windows. I tried Toby and Toby Mini and Tabli basically does all that Toby does but much more elegantly and with much greater usability, esp. speed of saving, loading windows. Cheers !
  • (2023-03-31) Chris Rust: I've tried a lot of tab and window managers recently because I want to save windows used for different types of work. Tabli is definitely the simplest and cleanest and most reliable for what I want. I love the very simple menu style list of open and saved windows and the fact that there's nothing else to think about. Most extensions in this area are more complex and seem to have problems as a result.
  • (2023-03-01) Li Chen: if there is a preview of all windows then this extension would be perfect
  • (2023-01-27) Mayank Gupta: Tabli is so much better than the default Tab search feature of Chrome. Thanks for all the efforts that you've put in building it.Certainly one of the top chrome extensions for me.
  • (2023-01-10) Bhaskar Ammu: Very useful for people who have tons of tabs open for days and months together
  • (2022-12-25) Anton Trapp: Wow. Simple. Fast. No issues. No registration. No spam. - still searching why this is possible... if I don't find anything I'll search for a donation link..
  • (2022-11-29) 梁志成: Great Extension
  • (2022-11-16) Vinoo Samuel: Great extension. Only one nigggle. I use Tab Suspender. If i close a window with some suspended tabs, then when I reopen the window, none of the suspended tabs open. It would be great if the tabs at least opened in suspended mode, so I could just click and unsuspend them, instead of having to open each tab individually from the Tabli drop down menu. 5 stars otherwise for its simplicity and utility.
  • (2022-11-15) Laz from Budapest: I've just tried out half a dozen tab managers. I often have several Chrome windows open. I want to be able to go back to a previously closed window as it was when I closed it. Tabli is slick but it's missing this one critical feature. I can save a window as a named window, and I can reopen it later. But then if I have "tab drift", i.e I close some tabs and open some new ones, and then I close the window, then Tabli does not remember my changes unless I manually go and check the new tabs to be saved before closing the window. I would assume that it would not be that difficult to add an option to "auto-save" the named window tabs. I will update my review if this is implemented - and then I'd be happy to donate to the project as well. Until then, I'll be using the "Simple Window Saver" (which does exactly this but I've read has some reliablity issues). In any case, thanks for making a free extension for Chrome! 2022-11-15 Thanks Antony for the update! I now understand what the "Only re-open saved tabs when re-opening saved windows" option does. Perhaps consider changing the wording to something like "Auto-save and reopen all open tabs" or something similar. Updating the review to 5 stars and THANK YOU FOR YOUR WORK on this extension! I also enjoyed your recent blog article about Tabli which made me want to give it another try. Also, for everyone else evaluating this extension, take into consideration that unlike many other "session savers" this one requires minimal permissions and doesn't send or save your data to some 3rd party servers, a huge plus in my book!
  • (2022-11-09) Rocky: Tabli used to be awesome and a great time saver. However, it has recently developed into the exact opposite. Multiple tabs can no longer be opened at once. Instead, Tabli wil either have deleted all the valubale tabs you saved or you have to search your bookmarks for the Tabli folder, then open the tabs individually, which can be time consuming.
  • (2022-10-16) Kadircan Erşahin: option export NoNo export
  • (2022-09-24) Jervis Cui: 非常棒,很实用的程序。 Very nice, very useful program.
  • (2022-09-13) Prep4Lausanne: Very nice!! Solid. Good UI/UX. AND GLOBAL SHORTCUT!!!!
  • (2022-08-21) Florian “furomin” Gaul: Awesome Tab manager, I'm running it on MS Edge and it's working flawlessly, should work event better when using Chrome! Keep up the good work, devs! Great product!
  • (2022-07-29) Amir: Garbage UI/UX
  • (2022-06-30) Bill Seitz: Used to love it more, but it doesn't seem to be working with my 2nd Chrome profile.
  • (2022-06-19) Steven Orr: At first it looked great... Then it sucked big time. Poor UI!! One slightly inaccurate mouse click and you forever lose all your window tabs. No asking for confirmation with a message like, "Are you sure you want to remove ## tabs from you XYZ window?" Nope, it's just gone. What was supposed to help with organization just cost lots of time trying to restore 100 tabs from my browser history.
  • (2022-06-19) Jeremiah Overton: This is everything I wanted in a tab manager. Easy to manage, unobtrusive, not overly worked...It uses your current windows, and just gives you a way to organize them. Because it saves everything as bookmarks, it seamlessly syncs between your machines. You can close windows/tabs and not have them be lost, it just doesn't load them. I could go on, but others have already said exactly what I would here, so, THANK YOU Tabli for scratching that itch I could never reach. :)
  • (2022-06-17) Dino Korah: Brings order to my tab chaos! I have been using it for quite some time now; works great, never had an issue. One feature request I have would be to add support for tab groups, which I know is a new-ish feature in Chrome.
  • (2022-05-24) Md Intekhabul Hafiz: I just accidentally lost all the tabs in a window that I saved with tabli by tapping on the tick next to that window while the window was closed. Now all lost. Please use some sort of recycle bin or trash before permanently deleting.
  • (2022-05-11) Xalomon: Does not save actual tabs, only their urls, causing you to lose the pages where the Back button goes before you save them and reload them (the Back button becomes disabled after they're lost.) Check History>Recently Closed to see the expected behavior.
  • (2021-12-23) Maxisam Lin: The best tab management tool I have used. I have tried couple tools. I think this is the best one. I tried Tab Manager Plus and Tab outliner. Both of them are good but the UI are complex and save solution is not as good as Tabli. I think Tabli has the smartest save solution.
  • (2021-11-19) Nancy Harden: It helps, but it often malfunctions
  • (2021-10-13) Ziwei Xu: 很好用 简捷 喜欢
  • (2021-10-10) David Payne: Not feature rich at all, which makes me question the point of this extension even existing.
  • (2021-06-19) Rogerio M. Souza: Very working! Thanks gettabli.com !
  • (2021-06-11) Rajitha Gamalath: Awesome tab manager! :) Absolutely the best, thank you so much for sharing this with us! A lifesaver for those of us using lower end devices
  • (2021-05-06) Adam Hupp: One of the few extensions I use daily. Handy for finding lost tabs, and re-arranging so that I can keep my main browser window clean.
  • (2021-05-01) Kevin O'Gorman: Tabli is my go-to for figuring out where one of my 300+ tabs is, re-organizing tabs, and basically keeping my clutter useful.
  • (2021-05-01) Steve Peterson: Thought I'd miss OneTab since it no longer worked in Chrome. Not the case though. OneTab would lose all my bookmarks every once in a while. Tabli has nice features for keeping my bookmarks safe. Also a much nicer UI for saving groups of bookmarks.
  • (2021-04-30) Mordecai-Mark Mac Low: Indispensable. I have dozens of tabs open at any given time, and it would be completely impossible to find anything without Tabli!
  • (2021-04-29) Steven Hotelling: Thank you for all the Good work, because 'TABLI' is great!
  • (2021-04-29) Joy Bickham: Productivity of myself (Program Coordinator) and my supervisor (Dean of Instruction) soared after utilizing this tool. I tell everyone about this!
  • (2021-04-29) Ken Gant: Sliced bread < Tabli. Google's added a "Search tabs" feature, but they still have a long way to go to catch up the usefulness of Tabli. It's the one extension that I recommend and the first request I make in a new business setting. My use of it is pretty simple, so I might not find issues that some have, but it is definitely indispensable to me.
  • (2021-04-01) Marc-Antoine Séguin: Super simple way to save tabs, works great, very light.
  • (2021-04-01) Laosha A: 为什么我右上角插件位置点击图标打开后的界面是一片空白 什么都没有显示呢?
  • (2021-03-26) Messaoud Oggad: Good. Shortcut to display Tabli : " Ctrl + ; "
  • (2021-03-22) Tom Kalvari: I love it, it's great for organizing my browsing! A few extra features that could be very helpful to me: * Resize save buttons (hard to hit sometimes), or at least give some grace area around them which doesn't close the drop-down * Save tab-groups (I know that this is a new chrome feature, but it's great for organizing my tabs, and I would love to see it integrated into tabli) * Save tabs that are still loading. I realize that not saving them might be an intended feature, but I occasionally want to open up some tabs from links, save the window for later viewing and close it. Right now, I have to wait until everything loads and save (and then, when I open it, everything needs to load again). Thanks for the great extension!

  • (2023-02-24, v:2.1.2) Spiro Bogdanos: Does this extension save RAM usage?
My browser is lagging a bit and one reason may be that I keep a lot of tabs open to read later. When I press Shift+Esc I notice a lot of these tabs that I'm not using are hogging my RAM. I see that some extensions related to tab management will "hibernate" or suspend tabs that I am not using. Does Tabli do something like this? Can you recommend something that does this?
  • (2023-01-27, v:2.1.2) Mayank Gupta: Ability to open the Tabli interface with a shortcut
Hey, Thank you so much for Tabli. It's amazing and way better than the default tab search with-in chrome. I was hoping if there is a way to launch the tabli's interface with a shortcut, which I may have missed - and if it doesn't exist then will it be possible to add that feature? Thanks again! • (2022-10-24, v:2.1.2) Bart Beeman: Auto save?
Hi there - thanks for such a useful product! I really like the use of bookmarks to save the tab information. I've also played with Session Buddy and it will periodically save sessions for windows I've had open but didn't remember to save recently.. Thanks!

Often when when I have a number of Tabli search results, what I want to do is EXPAND one of the folders in the result list, so I can see all its tabs. It would be quite useful to have a keystroke for this. I might know the name of the Folder, but not the name of the specific page that I am looking for. Currently Tabli makes it easy to find the folder, but then it's not possible to expand it to inspect all its pages.

Hi, yesterday I hit the "check mark" on the tabli mention. Great program, but would be nice if the checkmark wasn't so close to the 'minimize' arrow or if it asked "are you sure", because I made a mistake and hit the checkmark and lost stuff that I had saved for literally "years". Poof. Gone... by mistake. Maybe some sort of backups too. Other than that, keep up the good work. Thanks
  • (2021-07-19, v:2.1.2) Takashi Sagisaka: When tab is D&D'd, Tabli don't show the tab correctly.
When I drag out a tab from a window and then launch Tabli there, no single title will be shown in a box of current window, so I cannot save it. Like this, when I drag and drop a window into already saved window and launch Tabli there, the D&D'd tab won't show up in a box of current window, so I cannot save the tab.
  • (2021-06-14, v:2.1.2) Bill Seitz: Some tabs not findable, seem to have blank title as far as Tabli is concerned
This started in the last month: I'll try to use Tabli to jump to a tab I know exists, and nothing will match the type-ahead. Possibly the same issue, when I launch Tabli, before I type the first character, I see ~3 entries that are blank. I can click on them and it jumps to a tab. Right now I have 4, which are: a google-slides doc, a word365 doc, a jira ticket, and a google-support-doc page.....

Tabli clearly does not do what it claims. Instead it causes chaos as it deletes all your tabs and there is no way of retrieving them again, even though I have backup extensions to save all my tabs. Tabli interferes with those other extensions. I tried disabling and re-enabling, but nothing could get them back, even after saving tabs in Tabli. This is the type of error I get for each tab: klbibkeccnjlkjkiokjodocebajanakg is blocked, Requests to the server have been blocked by an extension. Try disabling your extensions.

  • (2020-08-08, v:2.1.1) Alex Guinigundo: Add shortcut for closing selected tab and saving window
Hi, Great extension, but can you add a shortcut for closing the selected tab in tabli? I frequently have double digits worth of tabs open at a time, but i don't necessarily want to close them all, I would like to be able to a mouse free option to closing tabs. Also, can you add a shortcut saving the window? I frequently research and find multiple new sources but also a lot of dead ends. This coupled with the above suggestion would be great in tandem with another, because i could delete all unwanted tabs and quickly save without using the mouse. Still a great extension, but i feel it could be even better. Thanks!
  • (2020-08-01, v:2.1.1) Fabrizio Morello: Undo option after clicking "Stop managing this window"
Hi, first of all, thanks for this great extension...a real life saver! I don't know if it has been suggested already: the "stop managing this window", being right next to the Expand / Collapse one, gets sometimes clicked by mistake...and a whole group of windows is then gone. :-( I know that it's possible to recover them from bookmarks/Tabli/Archive , however an undo option would be nice! Thanks
  • (2020-07-27, v:2.1.1) M L: add option to persist search string
Hi, Great tool, I use it all the time thanks. Its been mentioned before on this but one thing I'd love to see is a way to persist the search string after you open a window from the search. I know you say this is to prevent people forgetting they were already filtering but you could add an option (disabled by default) to show a 'persist search' checkbox which would then appear beside search and either clear or not clear the search string based on check. Reason I need this is if I have 100+ windows option and 10 scattered across windows the search is great to find the 10 windows but as soon as I click one I need to type the filter again to find a second and if I want to look at all 10 its really painful. If I could persist it, I would have a persistent virtual list that I could go back to to select windows and clear as needed. If it was a option it wouldn't interfere with other people Its a great tool and that one little feature would be a massive help to me. I hope you can look into it. Thanks
  • (2020-07-15, v:2.1.0) fa 9: Bug regarding the check boxes.
Either size of checkbox or something to do with how it tells which box you're trying to select. Un-checking a lower down box will un-check the box directly above it, once the upper box is un-checked you can then un-check the lower box that you intended to click in the first place, though you can recheck the upper box after all of this to work around it.

First off great, easy to use, and minimalistic extension that helps manage and find tabs quickly. Would it be possible to name the Windows, I typically put tabs into windows that are themed and be a lot easier to find them using the theme name then having the active tab as the Window name.

Recently Tabli is behaving very flaky when I try to mark/unmark windows — the purple checkmarks appear and disappear on different lines, the same window shows up more than once. I restart Chrome and sometimes that helps, but it soon goes back to flakiness. This makes me really want an import/export capability in Tabli, so I can uninstall and reinstall it ("Did you try turning it off and back on?"). Hi. I just tried your extension in Edge Chromium and it works and it looks good. But if I open the external window to have all tabs in view at all times and then click to a tab that is currently very far down (not visible when you are at the top of the window), after showing that tab in the main window, the tab window will go to the top again instead of staying at the position where I can see the desired tab(s). Is it possible to fix this? Thanks a lot, Stefan

It looks like this is the error: ``` *** caught top level exception: TypeError: Cannot read property 'children' of undefined at bgHelper.ts:83 at bgHelper.bundle.js:1 at Object.next (bgHelper.bundle.js:1) at bgHelper.bundle.js:1 at new Promise (<anonymous>) at y (bgHelper.bundle.js:1) at F (bgHelper.bundle.js:1) at bgHelper.ts:133 at bgHelper.bundle.js:1 at Object.next (bgHelper.bundle.js:1) (anonymous) @ bgHelper.ts:974 (anonymous) @ bgHelper.bundle.js:1 (anonymous) @ bgHelper.bundle.js:1 s @ bgHelper.bundle.js:1 Promise.then (async) u @ bgHelper.bundle.js:1 (anonymous) @ bgHelper.bundle.js:1 y @ bgHelper.bundle.js:1 e @ bgHelper.bundle.js:1 312 @ bgHelper.ts:978 a @ bootstrap:79 309 @ bgHelper.bundle.js:1 a @ bootstrap:79 r @ bootstrap:45 (anonymous) @ bootstrap:152 (anonymous) @ bgHelper.bundle.js:1 ``` I am using Brave Version 1.3.81 Chromium: 79.0.3945.88

Hi, I'm glad to see you updated Tabli, but disappointed that the "Tabli Saved Windows" folder is still created by default. Please add an option to not create this folder every time Chrome starts up.

Is it possible that tabs, when i restore a session, wil be opened consistently, like when i restored its with Chrome? Because I get HTTP 429 error on some sites.
  • (2019-09-18, v:1.2.2) Frederic Defoy: Is there a way to list duplicates?
Or "possible" duplicates. Or is the checkbox to auto close duplicates the only thing? I would like to run this manually. Like simply get a list of tabs groupped by "possible duplicates" and some options to close duplicates like "close all others" and "close this duplicate" for control. This could also be reused as search tool with the option to choose either "search for keywords" or "search for duplicates" with the same close options as mentionned above. I feel this would be a good tool to help our fight against tab hoarding.

I want to hide pinned tabs from the list. I can access them via Ctrl+1-9. You can put this as a checkmark to the perferences

  • (2019-05-08, v:1.2.2) Jared Oberhaus: Auto-close tabli when selecting a tab to switch to
Hi all, My normal usage pattern is: * Ctrl-. to open tabli * Type a few characters to find a tab * Use arrow to find tab and hit enter, switching to tab I find that when I do that the tabli extension menu stays open. I quickly end up having the extension menu open on many windows. This is distracting, but more importantly, it seems to slow down everything in Chrome the more of these that are open. Seems like an easy fix to auto-close the menu when a tab is selected?
  • (2019-04-25, v:1.2.2) just sayin: "Tabli Saved Windows" folder created by default
Hi, I really enjoyed your excellent excellent extension! I noticed the "Tabli Saved Windows" folder gets created whenever I restart chrome. My bookmarks bar is quite full so I always go and delete the folder to hide the "Other bookmarks" folder. I suggest the "Tabli Saved Windows" folder not be created by default, but enabled by an option. Thanks! Kin
