- Great extensions for free. The only suggestion I would have is to be able to toggle things like ads/etc on and off easier as this is a setting that increasingly needs to be used. But overall great extension.

- We need to be able to turn it on/off depending on the website we visit. A lot of new sites are not real happy about adblockers!

- Great software that gets regular updates and blocks annoying popups and ads, sometimes it conflitcs with certain apps but I do not mind.

- its great but it blocks some ads and i don't know if it blocks malicious extensions cuz i had a extension called edit this cookie (v3) but it wasn't safe but can malwarebites block malicious extensions? edit: and does it can detect all dangerous things?

- Seems great so far! Any chance of it working on opera GX soon? One of my friends uses GX and can't use this extension because it's not on the opera gx portal to the chrome web store.

- i like it because tamashebi.net isnt really a trojan site if u download correct ones like xatab. reason i acctually like it is because i can scan for malware meanwhile i can download these mods even if i want of continue to this website option. i LIKE it bery much 5/5 idk why people complain. but one thing i wanna say is im georgian. 44 dollars is like 200 dollars for me and 99? like thousand. i can neveer get that much until i get a job so yea :/ but can there be like country based price for some countries

- Works great with Vivaldi browser, blocks suspicious websites and redirects when I'm watching anime and movies on "certain websites" if you know what i mean. It also blocks sus ads so i don't get jumpscared by THOSE type of ads anymore lol.

- I've used this app for a while its pretty good, but I do have a question does it protect against PDF virus files? I clicked on a suspicious email that had a PDF; I clicked it but didn’t download anything

- I have premium subscription with Browser guard. Trustpilot indicates I have 90% protection. The details point me to install Malware Browser Guard. Clicked on install, selecteed my browser, recieved confirmation that extention is installed. After restarting, it still prompts me to install browser guard. I paid for the browser guard and seem like I am not getting a benefit of it.

- It doesn't have an element blocker to manually block specific ads that UBlock Origin Lite offers. On some sites they ask that I turn off my adblocker, which means it doesn't have any filters for that. UBO Lite doesn't have that problem. Overall, this product is a big disappointment considering it's from a reputable brand. I'll stick to UBO Lite. It's the best of the MV3 blockers.

- It keeps blocking links (false positive) even though "All Protection Settings" toggle is off. The only way to open them is by completely disabling the extension from browser settings

- why do i keep getting invalid date on my statistics part of this extension, nothing has changed, clock same and same time, all updates are up to date everywhere! starting to think there is a major problem with malwarebytes extension, i got recommended by several to use this extension, i do also have adblock because of youtube ads but now found that even when off and i use malwarebytes extension it does not block them so smoothly as used to, has youtube cottoned on to this?!

- On YouTube pages, the CPU usage spikes and the page freezes. A similar issue occurred in May last year. I had to temporarily disable the app again. I hope the problem gets resolved soon.

- I absolutely love this extension — and Malwarebytes as a whole! This company has saved me so many times, it’s honestly funny. From accidentally downloading straight-up RedLine stealers to brushing way too close to disaster, Malwarebytes always had my back. Total lifesaver.

- Lifesaver. whenever i try to download ANYTHING it eats away at all my brains bandwith with all the annoying popups saying "DOWNLOAD NOW!!!" in big font and bright green buttons. never again :D

- its just blocking me from downloading code i put out there. and not letting me add an exclusion because it says the site address is not valid. so the only way to turn this off is to uninstall it? ok, done.

- I've never had a problem with any Malwarbytes programs, however I would like to know if updates to Browser Guard are automatic or do I need to do something? FYI.. I have all our devices fully protected by Malwarbytes and I would not consider any other provider. For those who are concerned by the cost, please remember "You get what you pay for".. !!

- I've used Malware Bytes for YEARS and never had a problem, until now. I get CONTINUOUS pop ups from Google telling me I've selected too many Malware Bytes options. I hadn't changed anything, so I shouldn't be getting warnings. I uninstalled, reinstalled the extension and same thing. I deleted google and then reinstalled it and I'm still getting the same popups. I know this is Google's fault. They've destroyed everyone's extensions. I can not afford $119 a year for a paid version of Malware Bytes. That's insane

- There is no way to allow movie streaming with Paramount Plus unless you disable the extension. Giving permission to Paramount Plus does not do the job

- Terrible service. Tried to sign up and it was through google. However,I did receive a verification code and I was initially charged for the trial. They put the onus on you but they don't seem to care if you are concerned about canceling. Waiting to see if a charge hits after the seven days. They also deflect legal responsibility. In California, a simple cancelation process is required.

- I installed malware bytes before until I new about the browser protector, I used it to go on a website, I did not know it was a scam but malware bytes warned me not to go to the site. Thank you for keeping us safe. I'd strongly recommend using this extinction, I have no idea why its only 3.8 stars, but this is the best one I've have used. I use it to use 123 movies and now it blocks dangerous websites, ads, and downloads, now I can watch without having issues with pop ups.

- Hi Dev, More of a question then a review, I just installed this on a couple of my PC's as I recently purchased Malwarebytes Premium I don't know why but the icon in the top right for the extension is White M instead of the blue M logo but only on 1 PC the other is fine? I just come here to figure out what is happening, Any ideas? thanks Devs

- Hi. As of recently Malwarebytes do the following: On every site when I copy some plain text I get a popup that says: "(name of the website) wants to see text and messages copied to the clipboard" with "allow" and "block" buttons. Of course, I block it. It copies normally when blocked so why would a website ask for such a permission (EVERY website) ? In addition I get an icon of a crossed out clipboard in the right corner of the search bar . Occasionally, on any site including a board where I do a lot of copying and pasting the warning popup "did you just copy something" appears. When I try to paste it the pasted text is [⚠Suspicious content]. I have to disable the extension and refresh the page to perform the action. When I turn the extension back on the issue goes away. On the aforementioned board it only happens once in a few days and it goes away immediately after turning the extension off/on. It looks like some bug but it's pretty disturbing because I keep thinking I'm hacked. ESET scan finds no malware.

- "Due to an update or newly added extension, Chrome has reached its limit of built-in active rules. This has resulted in Chrome disabling extension filters. " That's the messaging and it goes on to add that it's due to MV3 which has resulted in effective adblockers being removed from the store. The extension won't keep your settings despite making the changes. It's incredibly annoying. It's becoming slower and slower with each update. There's noticeable lag in Chrome. The adblocker is rather pathetic. The jury is still out on Malwarebytes' extension effectiveness against malware when used without the full (paid) PC installation. Uninstalled.

- With Standard Preloading on, not Extended, I get the phishing issue others are experiencing with Google search. A simple search redirects it to a page that the extension then blocks.

- It's OK. It doesn't have an element blocker to manually block specific ads that Adguard offers. On some sites they ask that I turn off my adblocker, which means it doesn't have any filters for that. I'm removing it until they fix both concerns.

- It was good, but unfortunately, many well known Websites in Germany are now mostly blocked, somehow too much. It causes symptoms, where it is impossible to click anything on the website. The popups of cookies setting or gdpr related ones are 'closed' automatically, which is actually good (similar to features on Brave), but afterwards Malwarebytes AddOn makes the website not click-able. If the AddOn is disabled/deactivated, the webseite works again normally. Which indicates, it is directly related to Malwarebytes AddOn. Please investigate and improve. (Tested on Edge, Opera, Opera GX, Chrome and Firefox)

- In general, it partially performs its function. But with some search queries (searching for a movie in my language) - it automatically redirects from the search page to a specific site. This happens only if this extension is enabled. So it partially performs the function of a malicious program - advertising. Which is why it cannot be a protection program
