All this one does is search scholar from what I can tell, which the google scholar extension does too but much better, showing results in the extension including links to export the citation to endnote.
• (2023-09-21) Julia Dunn: The extension behaves inconsistently to the point where it is more time consuming to use it than to export the citation and download the pdf on my own. The citation button at the bottom left of the screen rarely appears, and then when it does appear sometimes I receive a page with an error about downloading the PDF. If I close the error page and click the citation button again it will ask me to complete a captcha. I am unsure why or when this verification will occur. Eventually, if the new page can be accessed with the pdf available, sometimes it will export to desktop with the pdf, other times without. The inconsistency of the behavior of the product makes it undesirable to use and offers little to no benefit over the built in citation export tools on journal websites.
• (2023-09-06) PhD Hopeful: Not bad in terms of a stand-alone store. But doesn't connect to the EndNote Desktop setup. I had downloaded this extension to Chrome first, and hit a limit on the number of pdfs one can save. When I tried to then install and use the Desktop version for further use, found out that these 2 products don't talk to each other as I was forced to have different accounts for both. Moreover, this product doesn't have an option to download all PDFs in one go, which one could simply import into the Desktop version (irrespective of the account issue). Neither was I able to extract the locked contents as a library, that gets picked up by the Desktop version. Just having a Clarivate label doesn't mean that this syncs with other Clarivate products, and that was a disappointment.

• (2021-02-11) K: This used to be a very useful tool but ever since the EndNote rebranding, it is garbage. I appreciated being logged in automatically to my accounts so I can get past paywalls easily but now instead of refreshing the page to show full articles, you are forced to view everything in their viewer. Their viewer does not provide any benefits to me but does come with annoyances. I'll stick to just logging myself in now. The biggest flaw is the forced logo in the lower left hand side of EVERY page the extension thinks you MIGHT want to use it for. This means that if you use anything NCBI at all, you are forced to watch the distracting "loading" icon, where the wheel spins and spins endlessly. Since a lot of NCBI is not just reading articles but actually using their databases, there is nothing to "log in" to and no reason anyone would want to use this extension. Since I can't turn off the annoying logo showing up everywhere associated with NCBI, I can no longer use this. This used to be a very simple extension that just simplified the credential log-in process, but now it just feels like it has been re-tooled into a way to try and convince you to use Endnote's other services. I will be removing this extension and just logging myself in from now on until I can find something that does what this used to and nothing more when I didn't ask it to.

First they changed the GUI by adding tens of unnecessary small buttons (looking a bit like Windows, ugh), then couldn't solve a recurrent problem with annoying pop-up shibolet prompts for user credentials every time you search a paper (so long for storing library credentials), now it belongs to EndNote, a software I've been actively trying to avoid. I am uninstalling this extension. - - - - - - Real time saver. However the latest bug (Kopernio blames Chrome) made me lose first 7 days then 4 weeks of browsing history, cookies, passwords, etc. without fixing the problem. What worked in the end was to remove the extension and re-installing it.

Before, I would have to manually input the pdf when downloading citations to Endnote (this is how I sort and keep track of all the papers I accumulate). Now the process is seamless and, with the endnote cite-while-you-write it is very easy to go from the online version of the paper to a direct citation in the paper i am writing.

Unfortunately the overlying fade container for this div is causing the buttons or anything on the view to be 'disabled' or not able to be accessed. To fix this I just went into the chrome dev tools and removed this element, accepted cookies, and was fine after that. Verified that this issue is happening on Chrome on multiple devices.

  Hello, I hope you can help. I have my institution added to my EndNote Click account, and the box ticked to remember my credentials. But for some reason when I come to an article, a purple box stating "Sign in to your institution" often appears, pointing to a blank popup for linkinghub.elsevier.com. The popup "loads", then "redirects", then disappears. This all goes away quite quickly, but it would be much better if it didn't appear at all. Is there something I can do to stop this? Hitting "Remind me later" doesn't delay the issue for long, and clearing my cache and re-adding my affiliation didn't help. Also - I've found there are often PDFs which come up with a red message: "invalid or corrupt PDF file". Is this expected?

  Hi, It was reported to me that the layout of White Rose Research Online (https://eprints.whiterose.ac.uk/) was broken, and the cause was traced to the Kopernio plugin. I've spent a bit of time analysing the cause, and I think it's due to a style being added to 'navbar-fixed-top'. This is part of the Bootstrap framework that we use for our site - as well as being part of the extension you're trying to style. The specific part is in both content.bundle.js and background.bundle.js: initialize(){super.initialize();Object(B.C)(this.document,e=>e.querySelector('[class="navbar-fixed-top"]')).then(e=>{e.style.top="55px"})} For our site, this makes our header navigation move down the page. The navbar I suspect you're trying to style is in message-container.html. I think your selector could be updated to use e.g. 'nav#background.navbar-fixed-top', although making this more specific to your extension (as other parts of your code/css are) by using e.g. id="k-extension" on a surrounding element would make it less likely to cause this type of issue.   Apparently Kopernio only works with PubMed or MedPub, whichever. If the plugin is only for medical researchers, why not say so upfront? I wasted a lot of time installing it. I'll try to find another extension for the humanities, if there is one that gives me more than JSTOR and Hathi Trust, which I already have.

  The Kopernio example worked fine: I imported the ris file into EndNote. But can I import the pdf simultaneously?
