  • (2023-09-10) Richard Boult: Seems to be oriented to merging calendars from different accounts. (seems, but no idea if that works) What I want is to merge the same event from multiple subscribed calendars (or multiple of my own calendars). Doesn't do this for me, unless there is something I don't understand)
  • (2023-09-09) Connor Murphy: This is an awesome extension! I wish it had a few settings options and features, such as merging "busy" events in with identical events. My other issue is the way events stay squished when switching views while this is enabled.
  • (2023-08-16) Igor Ribeiro Sucupira: Very useful.
  • (2023-07-18) Tyler Habowski: This was one of the rare times I downloaded something and it just immediately worked exactly as I wanted and I was just blown away haha, thank you so much for this! This really should be incorporated as an official option, it's very well done.
  • (2023-06-19) Kieran Donohue: I've found it only works in certain timezones. When I go by GMT+1:00 the odd meeting merges, one where there are only those duplicates and nothing else in anyone else's calendar at those times (so if one person has a different meeting going on when everyone else is in a team meeting it doesn't merge.) but these problems fix if you change your primary time zone, for me to GMT-4:00.
  • (2023-03-30) Ivan Chan: Does exactly what I wanted it to do smoothly
  • (2022-12-15) Gilles Reuse: Works again!
  • (2022-09-19) Sarah Breau: This didn't work. All my duplicate and triplicate events are still showing individually on their days. There doesn't seem to be a setting or other trick for turning it on, so I'm not sure what I'm getting wrong here.
  • (2022-08-18) Daniel Rowe: This extension no longer works and the project appears to be abandoned. However, a fork of the original project has been updated recently called Cal Merge for Google Calendar.
  • (2022-08-09) Eric Perret: Looks like Google updated gmail so this plugin no-longer works.
  • (2022-07-09) James: not working for me
  • (2022-07-04) Worked great then all of a sudden stopped working
  • (2022-04-25) Tish Black: Striping is a jarring way to look at your calendar, and makes them stand out when not necessary. It also still leaves a blank space in month or multiple-week views, so it's not actually saving space in my calendar.
  • (2022-02-28) R. Carson: Recently stopped working, but I'm not sure when.
  • (2022-02-12) Angel Hudgins: It probably used to work, but it doesn't work anymore.
  • (2022-01-24) Bob Loucks: Sure doesn't merge sports events anymore...cannot get a synced MLB calendar anywhere nore merge all the games...duplicates of every game bc gotta download teams individually...what a mess and no solutions??
  • (2021-12-04) PUTERI ZULAIKA BINTI MUHAMMAD BN21110047: I had installed and uninstalled around 4-5 times, on different dates and occasions. Tried it the first time and it did not merge my events, uninstalled and tried again another time. Same problem every time. It may not be compatible with my Asus Vivobook 14. If anyone here uses the extension easily on the same device as me, please reply below to correct my hypothesis.
  • (2021-11-23) Josh Hollander: I love this extension, but it's once again broken for me... It seems like if two or more people use an OOO event to block off their day, the striping will break. Still works for normal events, but totally falls apart around holidays when lots of people are taking PTO.
  • (2021-10-06) Karla Coffman: I used to LOVE this extension! It was my most recommended tool to all my friends and colleagues and my most valuable resource in managing a massive amount of calendars. But it hasn't worked in months, support never answers any user questions or responds to issues, nothing has been updated since 2019. The plug-in is completely useless now. Hoping another developer takes this on and recreates the concept in a working manner and will keep it updated along with Chrome updates. Please someone create a better version of this!!
  • (2021-09-17) Elodie Eudier: At first it wouldn't work for me but I tried on a new computer and now it does. It's fantastic if you can get it working!!
  • (2021-09-10) Rich Cloutier: Hasn't worked in weeks and no response in support from the author.
  • (2021-06-23) Would love it it if auto-enabled when I started viewing co-workers shared calendars instead of having to click it first. Otherwise, great little extension. 🙌
  • (2021-02-05) Owen Appleton: Great tool! Managing meetings among a distributed team of 30 or so people, this makes my calendar views dramatically less hellish.
  • (2021-01-07) Molly Yates: Does not work with GSuite calendar, which is very annoying. Update... reloaded page and it's fine. I'm giving it 5 stars for now, but I really don't know how well I like it, just don't want to leave my poor review.
  • (2020-08-16) Tarun Nagpal: This is a pretty good app - but it isn't meticulous about making sure an event is really on two calendars. Sometimes people will have the same name calendar for two different events. It would be better if it looked at the invite lists and cross-checked before merging into a single event. And the candy-cane striping is over the top. I would rather it added left border to each event for the colors or something.
  • (2020-04-07) Madalyn Wilemon: Works pretty good - but leaves a blank space below the overlapping events on month view and my preferred 2-week view. Is there any solution to this?
  • (2020-01-31) Michael Galvin: Very useful for seeing multi-participant entries without a mash of columns. Sharing this one around the office.
  • (2020-01-14) 田村英明: 参加者が多いイベントは見づらかったのですが、この拡張機能のおかげでカレンダーがすっきりして見やすくなりました。
  • (2019-12-11) Ian MacLeod: I cannot live without this extension.
  • (2019-12-09) Addie GS: This is a super awesome extension, works on current GCal.
  • (2019-08-27) Giulio Vivian: Nice idea, but if you have 3 events collapsed in one, you stil have 3 row (2 blank) in the calendar. (e.g: you got 3 events collapsed + 2 single events => you see: 1 multi-events-row, 2 blanks lines, 1 event and 1 event is missing becouse you can have only maximum 4 events displayed on calendar) Fix it for 5 stars :)
  • (2019-08-21) Richard Burgess: Really like this extension - my gcal is much more bearable to look at now, I get all the information I need without going crosseyed.
  • (2019-07-23) Katriel Friedman: A wonderful extension--makes my extremely crowded calendar with lots of shared meetings and team members' calendars vastly more readable. Also impressive is the ongoing active maintenance and improvement by Amy--I just noticed that she has added a feature so that duplicate tasks on the same calendar display with a slightly different color instead of disappearing, as they used to. Bravo!
  • (2019-07-19) Jan Schattling: So awesome. I really hated to have the same event three or four times in my calendar. Thank's a lot.
  • (2019-07-08) Mary Going: It works perfectly!
  • (2019-05-28) Megan Swett: This is saving my sanity!
  • (2019-05-02) Peter Elroy: Does exactly what I wanted it to do smoothly.
  • (2019-04-07) Tim Graves: So much easier to view our multiple person calendars! Thank you for making it!
  • (2019-04-04) Travis Oldham: One of the best apps both conceptually and in function that I have found. Thank you!
  • (2019-03-28) This works great. Combines the duplicates and makes stripes on it. Actually looks cool and works great.
  • (2019-03-24) Outstanding extension. Works just fine on my PC. Colours are what you set them at, so I don't understand the colour queries raised below. Also works just fine on the latest version I have installed (March 2019). If only I could now find a similar app for my android phone!
  • (2019-02-13) Mark Freeman: This is a great enhancement to the way Google displays events on its own. There is an issue with it choosing which overlapping events are shown in front of others, making some descriptions difficult to read. (https://github.com/imightbeamy/gcal-multical-event-merge/issues/60#issuecomment-463261308)
  • (2019-02-11) Really useful. Only bug I've noticed so far is if you remove a person from the calendar view any shared events they are in disappear, even if other people in your view are in the same event.
  • (2019-01-23) Andreas Turanski: Really great! Only problem is the coloring scheme makes these entries DRAMATICALLY stand out (like my capitalization there did) when these events are no more important than other. Only thing that would make it better is to mute the colors from what they are or, better yet, instead of "candy striping" which is very visually jarring, just split the calendar bar into vertical segments, one for the color of each calendar that has it. This could/should be the new default and an extension option could give the candy stripe treatment if someone wanted it. Thus if the event was in 2 calendars, the left half would be one color and the right half another color, if in 3 calendars, the left third would be one color, the middle section another color, and the right third would be another color. This would be much less visually jarring.
  • (2018-11-19) MINISTRY ASSISTANT: I use several different calendars for scheduling staff activities and different groups at work (in a church). There's a lot of overlap with these groups, and having a single event show up multiple times was frustrating and space-consuming. Thanks, Amy, for this tool. It has made my calendar so much easier to manage!
  • (2018-11-14) Very nice. But an issue: when sharing co-workers calendars, clicking on an event selects the organizer's event, and not the one from my calendar... Consequently, the event "going" confirmation won't answer for me, but for the organizer.
  • (2018-10-11) Casandra Vuong: Very useful extension. Can't believe I didn't try looking for something like this before. There is just one bug right now where the events that are merged leave an open space / a new blank line on the day in a month view. If that could be fixed, that'd be 5 stars!
  • (2018-07-13) George O'Quinn: Thank you so much for fixing this so it worked with the new Gcal! I love this extension!
  • (2018-05-11) Brent Harsh: This multi-event problem in gcal was slowly driving me nuts and after several years I finally searched for a solution and found this in 30 seconds. Should have looked earlier! Now I'm off to look for the same thing for the android version of gcal...
