Recent Bookmarks
A list of recent bookmarks in descending order, grouped by the day they were added.
If you're like me, you use bookmarks as short term memory; Flagging something for further reading a little later. Unfortunately, the Other Bookmarks menu puts newly added bookmarks at the bottom of the list, meaning lots of scrolling or having to open the Bookmark Manager.
Recent Bookmarks solves this by displaying a simple and elegant list of the most recent bookmarks you've made. It groups the bookmarks based on the days they were added. Hovering over a bookmark will show the exact date and time it was added.
The extension can be configured to display between 5 and 1000 of your most recent bookmarks.

Well done for this extension. Heads up, it was just disabled by Chrome because it doesn't follow best practices for Chrome extensions. Will keep using it for as long as Chrome lets me.

recently my bookmarks became out of sort by date. this extension helped me to see my recent bookmarks. nice job. although it would be useful if it could be opened in a new window or doesn't close when I click on a specific bookmark. it closes right after I click on a bookmark and I have to click on it again in order to find and open another bookmark. it is a little inconvenient.

This extension is great, and It boggles my mind that Chrome doesn't have *any* way to sort bookmarks by most recent without resorting to an extension. Who on earth wants to see something they bookmarked a decade ago as the first choice?

Good, But it not working most of time when you click the star button, it does not drop off , does not show the bookmarks, you have to click many time to make it work, please improve it. thanks

I have click many times to get the dropdown list to come out. Please improve it. thanks Clever enough, as most time we only need recent bookmarks :) and it just shows what we need instead of search in different folders!! Well done. will this extension work forever? Also any security risk? :)

English below._Sortierung funktioniert nur für 1.000 Lesezeichen. Eingabe von Tags und Bearbeitung der Lesezeichen-URL nicht möglich. Lesezeichen zu Verschieben zum selben Thema ist nicht möglich. Was ist mit dem Datenschutz? Werden wir gläsern und werden unsere Daten verkauft? Sonst ist es okay. Sorting only works for 1.000 bookmarks. Cannot enter tags and not edit the bookmark URL. You cannot move bookmarks to the same topic. What about data protection? Will we be transparent and will our data be sold? Otherwise it's okay.

i love this extention a lot and i use it since 2015, but recently there a problem, sometimes when click star icon to open the list, nothing happen, the list not opening, i click right click on icon star and go to options page to fix this problem, but it's happening again after some time, please fix it.

Occasionally clicking on the icon in the Chrome menu hangs up and fails to open the bookmarks. The icon is highlighted but nothing happens. I'm not sure why. It seems like it is trying to sync, maybe. Otherwise, great extension. Thank you!
