When the windows are merged, the grouping is lost. Would love a way to retain groups after merging the windows. Thanks for a great extension.
• (2021-06-14) Ishan Sharma: The most recent update wrecked us... we install this app because we want to merge all windows. Unfortunately, the developer started excluding pop-out windows (e.g., video chats). There is already an 'exclusion' option in the settings of this extension so not sure why it's being done automatically. If there's a way to revert to merge all windows that'd be great.

• (2019-04-01) Jordan Stanaflini: Perfect. No bull****. People post this meme that says "My brain is like my browser: too many tabs open and I can't tell where the music is coming from." Solution: install merge-all windows enable "toggle-clicking the sound icon to mute/unmute tab audio playback" and within 2 clicks you get a full view of all tabs, and can click once to turn off that unknown music source. I sometimes get a generic pop up generated by windows & takes two extra steps of a right click and convert to tab. even still, I am so happy I have the option to merge everything. multiple browsers make me so disoriented and less productive.   What I really came here for was a way to merge all windows within my current macos desktop space. I usually have multiple spaces, with multiple windows in each space and also minimized windows as well. Is it possible to only merge un-minimized windows within the current space? Thanks!

  Not sure if this is still being actively developed but, it would be amazing if this could merge all open windows into tab groups based the the window the tab came from. Generic names for the tabs would be fine, but major bonus points if it could automatically produce a relevant name for the new tab groups based on site titles within the group.

  this may not be possible.. but I feel like this used to have the ability to not merge some windows. For instance the google hangout window launched via the browser extension. When I merge windows I really don't want that one to get merged. So I end up closing the merged one then re-opening.

  As many others, I have a lot of tabs and windows open all the time. My problem is that I sometimes need to close Chrome to free up some resources for a while. If I close all the windows one by one, Chrome will only remember the last window that was closed, so I have to restart my computer (without closing Chrome) so that I can open Chrome with all the windows and tabs intact. Would it be possible for you to make the app join all the windows so I can close them all together, and then split them again when I open Chrome again? The reason for having the windows restored is that if all the windows are merged, the tabs gets very narrow and cannot show the icons to identify what pages they represent. They also may contain different subject so I don`t want the windows merged permanently. Hope this was clear.. ;) Cheers :)
