It deletes your friends but after opening your friend list it only deletes the friends that are loaded in that webpage so if you want to delete all your friends keep scrolling down your friend list until the page can't be scrollen down any more then click on "Unfriend All", it will take a while but it deletes your friends. You can open your friend list in other tab & keep refreshing the page to check the number of friends remaining. Also be sure to disable all other extensions (adblockers) so it doesn't interfere with this.
