Image-Toolbar
Shows a customizable toolbar on images. The contained buttons can perform actions like downloading an image to a custom path.
Update 07.02.2020: With version 2.0.0.2 the problem occurring on Chrome 80 should be resolved.
Image-Toolbar shows a customizable toolbar if you move your mouse over an image. The contained buttons can perform various actions like saving an image to a custom path. You can customize the buttons and create new Save-Buttons on the options page. Beside the user-definable Save-Buttons there are some pre-defined buttons (namely "Bring to front", "Open as new tab", "Hide toolbar") that cannot be deleted, but you can disable them if you don't want them to show up in the toolbar. With later updates other button types will be added, like a button to show information about the image.

Right after the installation the options page and an introduction website will be opened. Please look at them and play with the settings. EDIT- IM SO SORRY. I rated this low back in 2014....man was I an idiot. I've been using this ext, for almost 10 years now.. its literally a must have, I'd be lost without it. 10/10 Best app for saving images on the planet.

In the new chrome 104xxx i can only download in the download folder and not on any sub-folder i have config. so is was no more functional. Same problem in Ms Edge 104xxx

Great extension. The only minor "fault" is the pre-set placement of the toolbar itself. Old Firefox had a similar extension (with less features, if I recall) that would pop-up a button near the mouse cursor after hovering the image for a few milliseconds, which I think prevented some issues regarding the button/toolbar itself being hidden depending on where the image is, besides being always inherently closer. It worth noting that it conflicts somewhat with the "CurlWget" extension. If cliget is active, then all images will default to the root of the Download directory, ignoring the subdirectory settings of Image-Toolbar itself.

Einfache und echt nützliche Erweiterung. Das Chrome Update 80 hatte der Erweiterung zugesetzt, dass nicht mehr alle funktionierte. War nach wenigen Tagen gefixt. Danke

Muy buena extensión, muy conffigurable. Lo único negativo, como en otras extensiones, es que descarga la imagen otra vez, es decir, no la toma de la caché del navegador, con la consiguiente demora doble.

Me encanta Tengo Carpetas de las imagenes que tengo y asi acomodo las imagenes directamente solo un favor, POR FAVOR POR FAVOR HAGAN QUE SE PUEDE HACER UN BACKUP DE LA CONFIGURACION, por que algunas veces que he formateado o desistalado chrome y resintalarlo, cuando se vuelve agregar la extension pero en blanco y duele mucho volve a configurar todo como antes
It provides me the same one-click convenience like the Image Toolbar in Firefox. Now if only it worked on Instagram and Facebook.

Давно не мог найти такое расширение на хром. Очень удобно - подвел мышку, нажал - скачал! Без контекстного меню и прочей лабуды.

the addon is pretty good, but it suffers from the lack of ability to disable default download folder and save anywhere, with remembering the last used folder like regular save as would do. i do my image sorting on the fly, saving images to specific folders all the time, so not being able to do this here is a hindrance, especially when saving multiple images from the same category.

i save to a external hard drive and its default is downloads
