Now there's no icon to launch it. Repeated install with same effect. Extension is shown as enabled under More Tools/Extensions. Tried reporting issue, got "Site down for Maintenance" page.

- (2019-03-21) Why on earth does capture selected area only capture the email client? If I want to insert screenshot into an email, its probably a part of a different screen/app...rather than gmail itself. Hope its a bug...

- (2018-02-08) Paul King: I was really pleased to find out about this google extension, as (for work) I use Microsoft 'screen snip' tool all the time unfortunately, although the google extension feels similar in the 'capture' of the part of the screen you wish to embed to your gMail, it never completes the task by adding it in it just 'hangs' ( i waited for over 5 minutes before cancelling the instruction and doing it the old way of making a 'paint' copy and attaching it as a ".gif" file)
