  • (2021-07-26) Tomáš Bohuněk: It would be great simple extension to start/stop measurements, if it didn't require to read all data on all websites. I understand why, but it should be opt-in, not a requirement if I don't intend to use the automated tracking feature. Better to just use the clockify.me website.
  • (2021-07-26) Daniel Gonzalez: I love clockify, thanks to all for this amazing project! The only concern about Chrome Extension is that the code injected (I'm using azure devops) when you open a work item, takes a while to load. This leads to unwanted clicks on the start timer and as a result switching tasks without wanting to. I remember that this behaviour wasn't like that.
  • (2021-07-13) Danilo SF: The plugin in chrome or firefox has a frustating bug. Sometimes the pomodoro doesnt show's up when times up. And sometimes when it shows up, the button click is ignoed and i loose the pomodoro sequence. Now i'm having to check the clockify timer, to check if pomodoro has finished and after clicking the Start/Stop button i check if it really worked. But still, the clockify system itself is a pretty great tool.
  • (2021-06-27) E Y: I love this extension so much, especially considering the fact it has a super useful pomodoro timer. I've tried tons of other pomodoro/time management extensions and this one has surpassed them all by far. I have ADHD and this makes a huge difference in helping me get my work done. Thank you Clockify team!!
  • (2021-05-10) 金カンベク: I love this app. Highly recommend to install iphone app as well.
  • (2021-03-31) J. S. Allen: Doesn't seem to work. Have tried starting/stopping the timer only to notice later that it didn't actually start or stop.
  • (2021-03-08) Gạo Mốc: Very good even just for personal time tracking, I wish Clockify will add a little box below the extension that show how many minutes have passed.
  • (2021-03-04) Bert Loedeman: Great simple time tracking plugin. Together with a very intuitive API I use Clockify for time tracking and automatic invoicing. Thanks!
  • (2021-03-02) Jana Korycka: I am using the app for a couple of days and it has really great user friendly interface. One thing that is not working for me (in free version) is reminders. i have set up them in the Settings option in chrome extention and nothing happens. Can you assist please?
  • (2021-02-19) Егор Акимов: Start break option in notification doesn't working in Pomodoro timer.
  • (2021-02-18) Miguel Vázquez González: Modifica el formato de las barras de scroll haciendo que ciertas páginas se vean mal y hace difícil pinchar en los scrollbars al hacerlos mucho mas finos
  • (2021-02-12) Hugo Siroco Yacht Brokers: I can't start the pomodoro timer. I have alredy did all the settings, but all the time I start the timer and gets to the supposed total time of pomodoro, I don't get any notification and the timer continues running. I get all the other notifications like iddle time, but not pomodoro
  • (2021-02-06) Srujan Kumar Jawaji: I have been using clockify in a browser tab since an year & had absolutely loved it & I atleast recommended to another 20 people. All of a sudden the clockify isn't coming u[ in the browser tab & instead notified me to use browser extension. So I added this browser extension & I am unable to login. The Login with OATH2 button doesn't work, after clicking forgot password enter the email, the Reset password button doesn't work. So I decided to create a new account & clicked on Signup & see this message "Something went wrong. You can try reloading the page, or go back". Pathetic.
  • (2021-01-30) Derek Josh Reyes: Wow, no more bugs I've seen so far after the update, and the extension launch pretty fast now, at the average of 2 seconds, well done
  • (2021-01-27) Anna Tyburski: This was working really well all through 2020. I don't need fancy integration - I just need to chrome extension to work so I can turn on/turn off the time tracker. These days when I click on the extension icon in my browser, I just get a blank drop down box. It's beyond annoying. I've uninstalled/reinstalled, logged out/back in....and nothing seems to fix this issue. I'll be looking for an alternative.
  • (2021-01-23) Kathleen Wheeler: Yeah this extension is legit! It works really well and I find it helps keep me on track
  • (2021-01-06) Raman Gupta: I am trying Clockify and am liking it so far. My main complaint right now would be the Pomodoro timing support is a bit clunky. The Pomodoro client state (in the extension) is "lost" when changes to time entries are made directly on the Clockify dashboard. For example, if a timer is started on the dashboard, it is not captured as a "pomodoro" by the extension.
  • (2021-01-04) Ma Wu: I believe it has a lot of potential, but it's just so slow. Webpages and even high res videos load much faster than extension. It's really disappointing. I look forward for improvement of this, because it's really nice besides.
  • (2020-12-22) Paweł Gruchociak: Lastly, there is a problem with the JIRA application. The button does not appear at all. Besides, a very useful extension.
  • (2020-12-03) Christine Garrity: This extension is exactly what I needed and more. I love all the different functions it includes for free, and it is really helping to bring to my attention where I'm spending too much time. The dashboard where you can see the breakdown is so clear and organized. Thank you for this great app!!!
  • (2020-12-01) Stephane Berla: I installed the Windows application on my desktop computer from Clockify website, windows alerted me this application wasn't safe. I installed it anyway and received an alert from google that my account has been hacked (a connection from an unknown computer). I uninstalled it & changed all my passwords. This is really weird.
  • (2020-11-11) Omer Prizner: Useful. I highly recommend using it :)
  • (2020-10-26) Jason Cerchie: Broken IMO. Installed latest at 10-26-2020 and couldn't log in using Google. Now can't get into Clockify at all, even after removing the extension. Will probably have to do some dumb fiddling around with site cookies and browsing history. Stupid waste of time for what should be a smooth and easy extension to use what is typically a pretty good service.
  • (2020-10-26) Alain Perkaz: THe currect update totally broke the extension. I cant eve access the time logs... Complete waste of time.
  • (2020-10-25) 지: It is not work. this time. not working, console.error is not found cordorva...
  • (2020-10-24) Angel David Starr Mauas: How can I like an extension which KEEPS CHROME AWAKE when closing all tabs, WITHOUT ASKING?
  • (2020-09-29) Hải Đường Nguyễn: Helpful, thanks for this awesome extension!
  • (2020-09-26) Surik Pozoyan: Awesome tool
  • (2020-09-23) Cường: this is one of the most helpful extensions I have use! Thank you so much <3
  • (2020-09-08) Hasan Tareq: its an useful extension
  • (2020-09-01) Jan Sievers: Please do some usability testing or get some usability consulting. Extension (and desktop apps) could be greatly improved with such small changes as - making it possible to click anywhere in the description field to select it instead of just the first few milimeters - making it possible to use the tab key to navigate from one field to the next and arrow keys to select projects And please work on speed and reliability. I can't count the times I had to click buttons multiple times, I started timers and nothing happened etc. Otherwise yeah, it's amazing value for 0 €, but these small issues are making it painful to use clockify... I would pay to have the issues described above resolved, but I guess they are the same for paying subscribers. So I have no incentive to become a paying customer.
  • (2020-08-12) Dante Sorgentini: It worked good until this Month, may be som update of Chrome or something is wrong, but the "start timer" button shows in the wrong place or doesn't appear at all.
  • (2020-08-05) Ryan Downs: When using Edge Chromium, the Start Timer button is cut off when on a Azure DevOps Work Item page. The upper half of the button is cut off by the title bar of the work item. When using Chrome, I don't see the Start Timer button on a work item at all.
  • (2020-07-31) CA Rajesh Pabari: Long way to go. But thank you for developing the extension. Will surely give five star when fully developed.
  • (2020-07-31) Jelle Batteram: This just works awesome if you use Trello a lot. Zero complaints, both the dashboard and Chrome extension work perfectly.
  • (2020-07-29) Suren Khorenyan: Seems like today's update has broken something. The "Start timer" button has disappeared from `jira.atlassian.com` and other atlassian pages (jira and etc). Tried reinstalling, didn't help
  • (2020-07-24) Julia Amanda Becker: Great!
  • (2020-06-29) Arpit Kothari: Terrible extension, I have the mobile app and it is much better. The chrome extension keeps me logging out from the portal and I always have to login 3-4 times a day. Sometimes it even doesn't show the right time. I have to refresh it in order to know the correct stars.
  • (2020-04-10) Alex: I thought I would like it, but after looking more into their website, on YouTube and social media, it doesn't seem right. They have a relatively small user base, their comments, their feedback are deactivated on YouTube, they have very little presence on social media, yet they claim on their website to have enterprise customers like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, IBM, HP, Siemens, Uber, Nike, Disney, Verizon and Harvard University. These companies' logos are all on the clockify.me/customers page at the time of this review. To be fair, it's a free time tracking tool with many features and in terms of functionality seems good (I've only played with it for around 2 hours), but doesn't seem trustworthy.
  • (2020-04-07) Constantine Khouleshoff: Simple time management and billing. Perfect solutions for remote projects
  • (2020-03-31) Toni Hutter: Unfortunately the extension doesn't provide the option to login with my Google account. Sometimes it doesn't even load and just shows a grey box. When it worked, it was pretty cool.
  • (2020-03-19) Simple Tutors: My most preferred time tracking software/extension/app. (YEP the syncing is one of the best things) It has a beautiful, and easy to use design, with nothing too complicated always in your face like a lot of others In the end, thank you for always keeping the base features free.
  • (2020-03-11) Cody Homesley: Great platform for time tracking. Please add contact support for Google Contacts. Right now, we have to manually add contacts to Clockify, which is time consuming. Also, if it's possible, try to spring a deal with Copper CRM. Both of your platforms would work better together if you managed an integration (in my humble opinion). Overall, this is probably the easiest, cleanest, and most straightforward platform for time tracking I have seen yet. Well done!
  • (2020-03-06) Konstantin Patroev: Perfect for keeping track of different project and their duration
  • (2020-02-06) Ivan M.: It's quite useful and I applaud the efforts to keep the software free.
  • (2020-02-06) Chad Nagy: I'm a work-at-home web dev and need a simple way to track time. I've used other big systems (Harvest) and other simple systems (pen and paper). Clockify is perfect for me. It's easy to track time and gives me the info I need report-wise. It can do soooooo much more than I need it to do but non of that gets in the way. That's the really impressive part. It took me a few minutes to get started and about 1-2 days to be really comfy with everything. I'm very happy I found it and I hope everyone who needs tracking takes a look at Clockify.
  • (2020-01-25) Mau Amolat: It's absolutely generous tool. I use this to manage my billing and monitor my hours and billables for a certain project. It works perfectfly great but until today, the notifications doesn't seem to work as it should be. I look forward to a new and fixed version the soonest! thanks!!!!
  • (2020-01-07) Michael Carr: Quite helpful to track my time against various projects. I like the time adjustment feature as I often forget to hit "go" or "stop" when I should.
  • (2020-01-06) Alejandro Gurrola: I used a stopwatch to time the dropdown and it takes a full 5 seconds to show me data, and there's a subsequent delay for each action, like starting a timer on an Asana task. If the code receives some much needed optimization, I will gladly change my review.
  • (2019-12-24) Kevin Neu: Love the idea of the app but the app is way too slow to launch compared to its competitors extension and sometimes even the website loads faster

Hi, It was all working perfect until lately, when I add the time manually through trello chrome extension, for example adding 1h and pressing enter It shows briefly the word: Error and dissapears and the entry won't be added to Clockify like before The start timer button still works though. Appreciate your support.
  • (2021-06-17, v:1.8.84) David Cook: 'Start timer' link on web pages no longer working
If I click Start timer (eg next to GitHub PR title), I get the following message: "You must be logged in to start time entry. (startWithDescription)" I tried clicking "log out" then "log in" in the extension. It seems to have done nothing as I was still logged in on the Clockify website. So I logged out on the website then in again, opened the extension to help it reconnect (make icon blue again), then reloaded the GitHub page. But I still get the same error. Is it something I need to fix, or a problem in the extension?

On https://clockify.me/todoist-time-tracking it says that "If there's a project in Clockify that matches the Todoist project, the extension will automatically select the project when you start tracking time so you don't have to do it manually." I have used that successfully and really appreciate it. Two questions about how the extension maps Todoist project names to Clockify: 1) How do I identify a Clockify Project in something other than my personal Clockify Workspace? 2) How do I identify a task within a Clockify Project?

Before downloading the Clockify Browser Extension for Chrome, I was warned that Clockify can "Read and change all [my] data on the websites [I] visit." That doesn't sound very safe to me. Would you please explain why you need such a permission to operate?
  • (2020-04-30, v:1.8.14) Clockify does not response in real time
Dear developers, I'm using Clockify to track my time. Recently, I started using a Macbook and Chrome browser where I installed Clockify. I'm having a lot of difficulties using the extension though. When interacting with the extension, the click actions doesn't seem to be registered, are ignored or have huge delay. For example, I have an active tracker, when I click on it to open tracker detail, it displays 00:00:00 time even though the tracker is running. Once I click to description field, the tracker refreshes and displays correct time value. When I open filter field for projects and type in anything, the search results is not updated unless I do any click action in the tracker detail which effectively closes the filter view, filtering nothing. The extension worked completely fine on Windows. I tried reinstalling both the extension, Chrome browser, I tried to logout and login, nothing works. The extension is basically useless now and I had to resolve to use the web app instead. Any idea where is the problem?
