Adds a mini-player for Pandora

Image from store Pandora Mini-Player
Description from store The Pandora Mini-Player opens a window when you listen to music on Pandora.com The mini-player allows you to like, dislike, pause/play, or skip a song. It has a slick interface that shows the title of the song, the song artist, the album the song is on, and a large image of the album artwork. By clicking on the title/artist/album name you can see more information about each option. You have the option of always having the player open when ever the song changes if it has been closed or having it open only on the first song. You can also reopen the player at anytime by clicking the show mini-player option on the control bar on Pandora. The mini-player is a handy tool that allows you to listen and interact with music on Pandora without using the full webpage. It is great if you want a small indicator on your screen or if you don't want to switch to a different tab to control your music streaming. If you like the mini-player please consider leaving some feedback!

  • (2020-04-06) Dustin Kreidler: Same two complaints other users have: bummer that I still need to have the webpage open somewhere, and that the full functionality ('Are you still listening?') isn't quite there. Still, the love the small form factor and having the artwork (but nothing else) showing on my desktop. Great work so far!
  • (2020-03-11) Holly Meehleis: Installed today, and I'm enjoying it so far. It's a little less streamlined than the Amazon Music mini-player, but I like that I can adjust the size of the player to fit my preference. I also installed the "always on top" .exe program to keep it on top of my other active windows. That's my favorite feature.
  • (2020-03-10) Kade Magleby: it's good
  • (2020-02-13) marty leopard: works great just need to get the "tired of track" button working. would also be nice if it was a stand alone and didn't need chrome open.
  • (2020-02-05) J Gerbs: Like having a small player after Pandora got rid of theirs... echo some of the other comments, which I didn't need the webpage open, which I could shrink it even more... but those are little gripes, super happy with the extension
  • (2020-01-10) Mike Hoffinger: great..easy..cool
  • (2020-01-03) John Rowland: Very convenient and easy to use.
  • (2020-01-03) Sean Murphy: Terrible functionality.
  • (2019-12-20) Tim Hunter: Works great. Love It.
  • (2019-12-06) Adam Olmstead: WORKS GREAT!!!
  • (2019-11-25) Mina Murray: So nice to have a mini player for Pandora again. Thank you to the author for this. It's fabulous!
  • (2019-11-19) Dennis Sarvis, II: works
  • (2019-11-08) Jackie H: Keeping the main internet window open almost defeats the purpose. I preferred the version with out the album art and it was just the functional buttons.
  • (2019-11-08) Joe Richards: Not bad
  • (2019-11-07) Casey Saylor: I would prefer to close the webpage so I don't have to manage the extra tab for Pandora, which was a large reason I wanted the mini player. It is helpful to be able to manage tracks through the mini player though, so I don't have to flip through tabs nearly as often. So 4 stars for being helpful.
  • (2019-11-06) Brent Olsen: look forward to new additions, okay for now
  • (2019-10-28) Barry Brecheisen: Volume nor Pause controls work. Not sure if the thumbs buttons work. It does display the song that's playing but that's kind of lame if I can't control anything.
  • (2019-09-24) Steve Shubert: I'm not sure what Pandora changed on their original desktop player (granted, that was several years ago that I used it, but it was still great), but this extension works GORGEOUSLY!!!! Thank you for providing this! Excellent addition, and it successfully removes the ONLY negative I had about switching from Apple Music back to Pandora.
  • (2019-09-23) Andrew Phillips: Does what you want it to. It would be great to have a smaller version that stays on top. But this works.
  • (2019-09-03) Constance Tran: I love this!
  • (2019-07-26) Johnny A: Great player! I've wanted a mini-player with Pandora for as long as I can remember and now its here, no downloading 3rd party programs to view my favorite music.
  • (2019-07-09) Jim Sherman: use it daily, endless selection and good quality stream.
  • (2019-07-03) Danny Bokma: It is a great concept, but I seem to be having issues with the album artwork stuck on the first song played. the song title and artist change correctly with each song. Seems like a easy glitch to fix. 5 stars otherwise.
  • (2019-06-26) Josiah Hahner: I use it with chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/easy-window-resize/cfpenpohaapdgnkglcbgjiooipcbcebi? to let me make it even smaller. Works great though, especially with always on top. Would love the are you still listening thing to be mitigated. Great app.
  • (2019-06-21) Anna Greene-Hicks: Let's me leave it open and still thumbs up/down, skip, look at artist info without opening up a full window.
  • (2019-06-16) michael maness: the mini player that you had before this one is the best one. this current one is confusing to use. don't add so many things that need to be "fooled with during use" . it had all the functionally that was needed and did not get in the way of music selection.
  • (2019-05-29) Dave Cornell: Great way to save some screen real estate and still control Pandora quickly and easily. I haven't run into any problems with the extension so far. It does what it claims to, and sits neatly in the corner of my screen. I used to keep Pandora in a separate browser window that I would shrink to the minimum useful size for the web interface. Now I can relegate it to a pinned tab that I almost never look at, and this extension's window is much smaller while still exposing the same controls and information.
  • (2019-05-27) tom e: awesome, works perfectly! Thank You!
  • (2019-05-23) Paul Posner: Easy to use and not obtrusive.
  • (2019-05-17) Mike Reilly: Works Great with Chrome cast. Keep developing though
  • (2019-05-01) Beau Fabregas: Liked the old app much better, didn't have to be tied to a browser to play music. This one often freezes and browser is required to reload music. Can't close mini player without closing browser... just seems a bit clunky and non user friendly.
  • (2019-04-29) Eric H: I like it, def a great start and an extension I have wanted Pandora to make for a while. It does feel like its currently a beta version and the UI design could use some more features and polish.
  • (2019-04-17) Nathan Baker: Works well, provide instructions on how to make it appear always on top. I expect since it is not a chrome app but rather an extension that this is why it does not have it's own option to appear always on top like the Calendar Clock app.
  • (2019-02-27) Mark B: I agree with some of the other users below, it's new to my system but appears to function very well. I also agree that having to keep a web page open is really what I wished to avoid but at least it has a minimal footprint so it frees up my desktop for work and lets me still enjoy some music. Thank you for creating this.
  • (2019-02-08) Mac Henni: Ai, just like Google's mini-player, but better!
  • (2019-01-22) Evan Petersen: Does exactly what I want it to
  • (2019-01-11) Recently got this extension and it's great! Also found a script that allows me to keep this tiny window on top of all applications so i never have to search for it when i have multiple windows open.
  • (2019-01-10) Michael Boris: I like the small form factor. Being able to see the album art is great. A bit of a nit pick, but it would be great to manage the "Are you still listening?" pop. That said, the question does come up on the mini-player, so it is easy to click.
  • (2018-12-14) Michael Schneider: really enjoying the addition of the I'm still listening button on the mini player.
  • (2018-12-07) Mary Lou Saladrigas: Love it!
