• (2023-06-21) ThaS: I'm keeping the website account but will no longer be using it so constantly as the extension keeps overrunning my preferred new tab page. I've switched to Toby, which isn't as cool-looking as Wakelet, but at least they have a Toby Mini extension that allows us to add stuff to our collections without forcing a new tab page upon us. Maybe you could do the same? (Then I would definitely be back to Wakelet because it is more visually interesting to me).

• (2022-04-12) Agnieszka Halicka: It's a great extension! I love Wakelet and I'm really glad to have an option to save bookmarks on the go.
• (2022-03-31) Vesa Tamminen: First 5 star, but when it breaks Brave NTP (new tab page) and their support ticket system only offers endless recaptcha-issue, i will temporarily change my rating to 1 star. When extension will restore normal NTP (if changed), it will use chrome-search://local-ntp/local-ntp.html address, and if you go to Brave NTP-settings, all Brave default sites are now broken, even when you change these settings. You can fix this via homepage-settings, where browser will point out that this extension is controlling these settings, once you restore (button at the end of the notice), all will work just ok. I will fix my rating, when the issue it is fixed.

For teachers, this is an invaluable tool and my students are using it for research, collaborative work, and blogging. • (2019-11-30) Peter Baumgartner: I love Wakelet! But unfortunately it didn't work anymore when I changed to Brave, a browser based on Google Chrome but more concerned with security and privacy. I have reported via eMail this problem to Wakelet support several weeks ago. The answered that they will look into the issue but until now they didn't get back again to me and the problem still persists. In the meanwhile I have reported the problem also to Brave support as I noticed that it is related with their default shield setting. For those links to web pages I want to store via Wakelet I must allow all cookies, even cookies across web sites. But this circumvention reduces the very comfortable way to work with Wakelet. I would be very happy if this problem could be solved as it would allow to use Wakelet with Brave the same way as in Google Chrome.

You can save websites to your Wakelet account within seconds.I like how you have an option to create a new collection and are not constrained to saving a website to previously made collections only. I encourage my apprentices (16-25) to use it for their projects and to curate ideas, especially when on the go with the app and how it ties nicely back into the Chrome browser. Must-have tech tool
• (2019-04-25) Tetiana Bilokin: Even though I deactivated the option "Enable Wakelet extension for new tabs", it messes up with my browser's new tab page. It forces me to use default (google) new tab page although I have Speed Dial 2 installed - but it isn't working unless I completely disable Wakelet extension. Do something with it
• (2019-03-11) Karl Hansen: The Wakelet extension does not seem to capture pages to Wakelet.com, which is its first job. I fail to see any use in having this extension installed. I have disabled ad blockers and script blockers for the test.

However, the extension interferes with the new page functionality of other extensions (no matter that you disable it's new-page functionality), issue that can be solved by uninstalling/reinstalling the other extension.

• (2018-10-16) Clint Lees: New version took over the 'new tab' function. (16th October) It did this without warning. Don't like that so I've disabled the extension. Can't find a way to go back to how I liked it before. I prefer the new tab to give me a blank Google page.

• (2018-10-01) Bex Lewis: Really straightforward plugin, makes it really easy to add articles to Wakelet without leaving the article, and the recent update to be able to search by the name of the board really helps (much less scrolling!).
