View the duration of YouTube playlists
This extension unobtrusively displays the total duration of YouTube playlists. YouTube Playlist Duration is great for easily viewing the duration of playlists for online courses, music albums, podcasts, and more!
Known issues:
1. Occasionally, the page must be refreshed for the duration counter to update.
2. Try restarting Chrome if the extension doesn't load.
3. Extension may not work due to pre-installed ad-blockers.
4. Click on duration box if it doesn't disappear.

It gets the job done but in a frustrating manner. If I click on a playlist, let's say an 80-hour-long playlist, it shows me 30/40 hours or something. I just need to press F5 (to refresh), and then it shows me the correct playlist duration. I don't know why they don't show it correctly in the first place. I hope the developers can fix that.

It seems to just randomly choose when it works. I can't figure it out. And yes the playlists in question are unlisted or public.

Não sei o porquê das notas baixas, ele cumpre oque é proposto simples assim, você tem q clicar na playlist para abrir uma tela separada com ela e se não aparecer no canto superior direito basta dar um F5.

It seems to be the one of very few browser extensions that actually works to show the playlists length.The criticism that I still have is that for one it's not very visually appealing but that's not all that important imo. The only real problem I have, which I don't know if it can be fixed, is that you always have to refresh the page after clicking on a playlist in order for it to show the length. When I just click a playlist from the side bar on YouTube the length is not displayed, and if I select a different one the length of the old one is still displayed until I refresh the page. The playlist length also doesn't disappear when viewing a video in full screen so you always have to click on the time in order to view a video.

I don't understand why most people faced problems, it worked perfectly for me. I just open the playlist and the time goes up on the upper right corner

Seems to only add up the time from a loaded page content, so if your playlist is large enough it will only count a fraction of it. Kinda works, but meh, the only reason I needed it in the first place is to see how long is my abysmally large playlist and it failed at that.

this extension is dead, it no longer works properly, it doesnt show the whole playlist duration like it used to this used to be like a 10/10 extension not its literally 0/10 broken bs fix it, undo all the changes

It didn't calculate the actual playlist length. When I had 400 videos it was 19 hours I added 100 more videos and suddenly it was only 6 hours?

Was very good, and made dealing with my thousand long playlist much easier. However, it is not workign on chrome anymore.
