LeechBlock NG (Next Generation) is a simple free productivity tool designed to block those time-wasting sites that can suck the life out of your working day. (You know: the ones that rhyme with 'Blue Cube', 'Space Hook', 'Sticky Media', 'Quitter', and the like.) All you need to do is specify which sites to block and when to block them.
You can specify up to 30 sets of sites to block, with different times and days for each set. You can block sites within fixed time periods (e.g., between 9am and 5pm), after a time limit (e.g., allow up to 10 minutes in every hour), or with a combination of time periods and time limit (e.g., allow up to 10 minutes in every hour between 9am and 5pm).
Additional features:
• Lockdown: Block sites immediately for a specified duration.
• Access control: Set a password or random access code for the options page, to slow you down in moments of weakness!
• Delaying: Set a countdown to delay access to sites instead of completely blocking them.
• Wildcards: Block a range of sites (e.g., *.somesite.com).
• Exceptions: Whitelist sites you don't want to be blocked (e.g., +allowedsite.com).

- I genuinely found this extension so useful. The thing I liked the most was just how customizable it was. You can set delay pages, a timer for how long you can use a website, even block specific subdomains, have passwords for sites... or any combination of these. That let me make a system that fit really well with how I tend procrastinate. At this point I can't imagine switching to any other blocker. I'm so glad this is free. Thank you! The only improvements I could suggest would be to improve the statistics page. Its not very detailed and I would love to be able to see the daily time spent per block.

- 10 out of 10 made me stop my scrolling as well as improve irl and go for my goals be more productive BUT i went to this password generator generated a crazy hard 50 letter digit sign etc password and put it on leech block so im not able to change the hours if i want to and i didnt save the password so i cant undo it but its perfect

- This is amazing, highly customizable and has almost all the types of blocking I need. Best part is grouping of sites and applying block type (password protected, time restricted, etc) based on groups. works great! takes some tweaking to get the settings just right, but it helps with my productivity!

- Great open source project. Highly customizable blocking rules and doesn't restrict core blocking features behind paywall (strict mode, unlimited rules, etc.) It would be nice if there was a bit more documentation, particularly for the block list import from URL, but so far everything has been great.
