• (2023-10-30) Bez SMV: I'm a huge fan of this extension, and I've been using it for approximately two years. It has significantly boosted my productivity. In today's world, social media addiction is widespread, especially among younger generations like Gen Z. I, too, have experienced the adverse effects of being glued to social media – the endless scrolling and the dopamine rush from likes and comments. However, this extension has enabled me to break free and lead a more productive real-world life. I aspire to contribute to the cause of breaking free from the negative impacts of social media. • (2023-09-16) Rivini Madawanarachchi: Very useful. My only suggestion would be to have the text in the night owl setting be lighter. Right now, the grey text doesn't contrast very much with the dark background.
• (2023-06-29) Felix Merz: When I open a website e.g., Facebook and then close my browser, often this extension continues counting. 10 minutes later I get a notification that I reached my daily limit for Facebook even tough my browser has been closed for 10 minutes. Maybe its when I close my browser with ctrl+w or something. Either way, this extension is disappointing.

I tried many tools and app on Android, Windows and browsers extension. so I really know what is a good tools as soon as I see it. Allow me to suggest a simple thing that I think will be of great importance, I hope that the process of removing this extension from the browser will only be done through a step of entering a password, and this step will be useful to me and people like me who can not resist for a long time, especially if the tool is easy to delete. I will automatically remove the tool to continue social media surfing 😅

• (2022-04-23) Natalie Amos: I've only just installed this, but so far I'm a big fan! I've been trying to find a screen time/social media time manager that worked for me, but since I don't often use the apps themselves, nothing other than an extension like this did the trick. I'm not tech minded AT ALL, so at first I was a little frustrated because I didn't know how to get to the actual dropdown box where you can manage sites and set time limits, but, for anyone who was confused like me, just click on the little puzzle-piece shaped extension icon at the top right of your screen and make sure screentime is pinned. I'm hoping this boosts my productivity!

So, I set the site URL where he visits and put daily use time 0 so he if he open the site or page, it will instantly close. And now, my dad open these sites and pages in his chrome account not in mine. I'm very happy.
• (2021-01-18) Zach Ellinthorpe: It's good, but there is one flaw that annoys me greatly. Say you've closed your laptop on YouTube. THE TIMER STILL RUNS. Today it shows that I spent over 20 hours on YouTube, which is way off. That is very annoying, but other than that, it is pretty good.

For example if it could save the times in Google Drive and load them in different browsers/OSs and maybe even on the phone too (with an app). Update: I found a bug with the Add URL feature. If you enter a mutli-section URL like mail.google.com, it will also include your time on google.com (without mail).

• (2019-12-04) Bobby Gallahue: Great idea and great execution. Rated it 4 stars instead of 5 due to syncing issues between instances of Chrome. When i go from my work computer to home computer (same username etc.) it does not save the time i spent on the websites, the settings i added to certain websites (like daily time limit), or any websites that might have been added during the day, makes it really difficult to use. The other thing was the minutes/ seconds page could be a little cleaner in terms of not using decimals and showing minutes or seconds, but that it minor, syncing issue is definitely more of a problem (for myself). But app it excellent Femi, great job!

• (2019-04-30) Hack Saw: This is nice and simple, which is great. However, I can't tell if things are on or off, and I can't tell if the add screen did anything. I added a limit, days and times, but nothing seemed to enable the add button. The toggle switches say nothing to me. Is a dark background off or on? I don't know. So I can only hope I set it up right. What I'd hope to see it a clear marking for on or off. 1 or 0 to keep it international, perhaps. On the times page, Only show the add button if I actually need to save something, otherwise totally hide it, and don't show it until I have changed everything I need to change to have something worth saving.

  Hi, I find a problem when you have various blocked pages opened. If you open one that is blocked by the timer or Schedule all of them close, even if the others haven't reach their limit and are outside of block time. And I have a suggestion, I want to be able to mix custom time blocks with the timer, choose to use the timer rule inside the hours I want it to be active. Thank you, great extension

  Hello. On my Mac I connected google flags with my screentime but now I cannot access google Chrome at all. I needed to enable a feature that I disabled but now I cannot do anything at all on Google Chrome besides put an address in the browser. I even deleted and reinstalled the App but I cannot enable to disable any flags now. How can I fix this? How can I enable the flags on Chrome since I cannot select anything on any website or page even from Google?

  Hi - LOVE this extension. As someone who stays up pretty late, would love it if we could add more than one time frame to each day. It won't recognize a time frame like "11p-6a" since it technically spans two different days and there's no option to add a second set of times to block sites. I regularly stay up well after midnight each day so would love it if the website stays blocked through the night. I tried just adding another site, but it just resets the existing one.   I would like to have an option to define when the screentime timer resets. For example let's say at 2AM, because I am on my computer till then. If I exceed my daily screentime limit for some website I can still use it after midnight, because there is no option to reset the timer at 2PM.
