Extension Delisted
This extension is no longer available in the official store. Delisted on 2025-09-15.
Search Wikipedia from the context menu.
Select the word(s) you want to look up on Wikipedia, right-click and click the "Search Wikipedia for ..." item in the context menu.
By default, Wikipedia Lookup auto-detects the language of the page and opens the corresponding version of Wikipedia. You can turn this feature off in the options.

Great and saving time ! The default search option doesn't support Hebrew, unless you change it to the 2nd option "always open https://he.wikipedia.org/"
So far so good.
Worked when I first added it to Chrome. Restarted computer. Didn't work. (It will function as normal until I restart my computer. Then it no longer shows up in the context menu though still enabled in Extensions.)
Funktioniert nicht.
When I first downloaded Chrome on my new laptop, one of the first things I had to do was download this extension. Why in the world doesn't this come built in?
it works well! Thank you!
So simple in use and all the other extension with similar functionality require to view all webpages which is quite absurd.
. Great when it used to work. Dead now. . The DataRat .
It reads all ur tabs & data WHY ???
not working -_-
Works fine!
this is my favorite thing about chrome at the moment!
man, why do you change the lookup? it worked really well! wasn't ugly at all, and was the only wiki lookup that properly displayed a page... now i have to open in a new tab every time, which is rubbish when i'm reading some tricky stuff and just need a quick reference. it's sad, i was developing brand loyalty but now i'm back on the market...
