  • (2021-02-24) Victor C.: It works great most of the time, there are some formats that are not supported but it's ok. The only gripe that I have with it, is that the updated time has a background color added, and on dark pages the white background with white text makes it unreadable. My proposal is either don't add the background or change the text color as well. Thank you for the work you put into this extension <3 P.S. If you are not supporting the plugin anymore, contact me, I can take over.

  • (2019-05-15) Paul Tottle: It's showing the incorrect time, by one hour. So source of time data is not correct. Maybe not taking into account daylight saving. Converting from US Pacific Time to NZ time.

  • (2017-07-28) Armando: Would love to be able to tweak some settings. Overall nice extension, thanks!
  • (2017-07-07) Peter Bailey: Brilliant extension. Would be great if it could match this format though: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM MST
  • (2017-03-19) Ferenc Gyenezs: Too bad we don't have black/white list sites. This extension KILLS my google search speed. The site HANGS for 7-9seconds just because of this extension.
  • (2016-11-09) Ivan Valencia: Minor bug. The extension changes my font (increases size). Everything else is great and it does support 24Hr. Perhaps adding a setting tab to allow us to control some aspects. Great extension!
  • (2016-10-08) F J: amazing just you could change the long text to CET for example
  • (2016-08-18) Pakshing Zheung: Amazing!
  • (2016-07-19) David Furlong: Really cool and useful, but ships with console.logs. Irritating as a developer. Please remove

  • (2016-05-28) Marco Conti (ContiCreative): Finally! I have been looking for an extension like this for a long time. I belong to several online racing leagues and we often publish our race times in US Eastern, GMT, UTC and both in am,pm and Zulu time. Each league publishes their schedules according to their location, which means trying to figure out their daylight savings time, mine, etc. I missed races for misinterpreting the time zone. So far this extension seems to work just fine. If I could make a suggestion, it would be nice to have the option on how to view the local time. For instance, a custom background color or via a mouseover on the original time. I don't know myself which option would work best for me, but I would like to see the original time as well as my own, and maybe it would be nice to also set up a third time zone to translate. For instance, let's say I have a race at a UTC or GMT time, but I want to tell a friend in yet another time zone when the race is scheduled for him. Having the original, mine and a third time zone would be excellent. But I am getting greedy. This is already a much better solution than anything I have tried so far. Thank you.

  • (2016-04-29) Garbouw Deark: Great! I can also confirm for Opera users that this works with the Convert to Opera extension. Only wish it had an option to use 12 hrs instead of 24 hrs, but it's still great as is.
  • (2016-02-06) Sassan Haradji: It's not working for me on this page for example: http://www.bbc.com/persian/iran/2016/02/160205_l45_ir94_elections_day21 all GMT times stay GMT.

Hi, I am from Europe/Slovenia and the time shown is in CEST format which is not something we use. Is there any way I can change that?
  • (2021-07-27, v:0.4) Kyle Schutter: Does not work well in dark mode
I can't easily read the translation when on reddit in darkmode, because it has a white background. https://i.imgur.com/Rwl3Qn5.png
  • (2020-12-11, v:0.4) Wild Dog: Love the idea, but wish it could translate to the 12 hour format.
It's not really translating the way I need it to otherwise and I don't feel like converting to military time just yet. Also, there's some detection issues. For example I was just on the contact page for Barilla: https://www.barilla.com/en-us/contact-form And it didn't notice "Call us on 800-922-7455 (8 AM - 5 PM CST, Mon - Fri)"
  • (2018-03-28, v:0.4) NiMo: Prevent False Positives
Gets a few false positives, like in usernames (e.g. it'll convert 4PT in R4PTUR3). A good way to avoid this would be to check for whitespace or punctuation before converting. It would be great to have an easy way to view the original text, either by clicking or mouse-over.
  • (2018-03-22, v:0.4) TurboBMR: Bug

Please add support for Fabric's Crashlytics. Thanks!
  • (2017-01-09, v:0.4) Philip Norton: Changed times display with a light background
However, if the text is light (originally on a dark background) then it is difficult to read the new time. Instead of changing background, perhaps use CSS to add an icon before the time indicating that the time has been changed? Would it be possible to use abbreviated timezones? "SAST" instead of "South African Standard Time"?
  • (2017-01-08, v:0.4) Benedek Kozma: background color behind text changed
http://imgur.com/a/L3e6H also if there is like 5:30PM to <other time> <timezone> it doesn't change 5:30PM to my time zone same with "-" instead of "to" also the abbreviation for the time zone would be much better than the full Hungarian name of the timezone
