Fine tune your Nest Smart Learning thermostat
Fine tune your Nest Thermostat from Chrome.
UPDATE (October, 2016): Nest's reveiew process made this project just too difficult for an independent guy who is dad in his offtime. I empower you , developers of the mighty internet, to enjoy the source and update at will: https://github.com/mcconkiee/nest-thermostat-chromeextension
To get started, after installing, go to Options. Click Authenticate , and login to your Nest account. Agree to the terms, and you're good to start controlling your thermostat from Chrome.
NOTE (July, 2016): I am waiting for Nest to lift the user limit to allow more authentications. Please be patient!

- Can't get the authorization to work and so can't use it. Can't give it more than 1 star until I actually get it to work. I keep getting the following error when trying to authorize (not a very helpful error on Nest's part): "Oops! We encountered an error. Please try again."

- It doesn't work at all...I tried a lot of ways to fix it. I am going to uninstall the extension. I will someday comeback and see if the Nest Extension is fixed. The extension keeps saying Loading...with a green leaf. Will try to download it later in a few weeks or months. Thank You.

- Works fine for me so long as I don't have it in Heat - Cool mode. Big time saver. Would be better if it didn't have to load every time, but it's still plenty fast, much faster than opening a new tab, clicking my bookmark, etc.

- Authorized and got it working quickly with my thermostat, and it works fine to adjust the temperature. But: it's slow to load and doesn't give you an indication until you click on the icon. I think the icon should be constantly updated with the current temperature, or mode, or whatever, and then it also wouldn't need to load each time you click.

- I was able to get it to work, You have to right click the extension, select options, and then click the authorize nest button in order to get it to work. Some instructions would have been nice to have instead of having to figure this all out myself.

- I added this extension, set it up. Connected it to my Nest account. And it would not do anything. Click on the icon that it added to Chrome and it would just pop up a Loading bubble. I was hoping for quick access to temperature settings for my thermostats but this didn't work at all. Hopefully the developer will fix this soon.
