This extension let's you quickly and easily remove all images and videos. This allows for a distraction free website viewing experience. Configurable to hide either images or videos or both.
Just click the extension icon and instantly all media will be removed. Refresh the page to undo.

Actually you have to move to Options in chrome settings, which is in a new tab, to decide "hide photos" on/off "hide videos" on/off also i have to restart a already playing video if i decide to hide it

This takes care of the problem, in a way that's simple, elegant, and non-destructive. (If hiding the pictures does cause a problem, the solution is just a matter of hitting the "refresh" button.)

Could you make it where you can turn this extension on and it remains on throughout the browser. I can't know who wins the super bowl, so Sunday will be difficult without this property.
