Image from store pinner
Description from store This application puts a pin to the right of your address bar. Click it to pin or unpin a tab. This is useful to people who pin and unpin tabs a lot and hates the lengthy process of right clicking and finding the "pin tab" option. You can also use the hotkey alt-p to pin/unpin a tab. Thank you to clker.com for their images of pins: http://www.clker.com/cliparts/4/a/9/a/119498442666107289pin_-red_nicu_buculei_01.svg.hi.png http://www.clker.com/cliparts/3/2/0/d/1194984425806666249pin_-_blue_nicu_buculei_01.svg.hi.png Also thanks to livibetter who created the application "keep last two tabs". I used his code as a kickstart to make this application. • (2016-10-10) Rayna Kuzio: I never realized how much of a pain right-clicking to pin a tab was until I installed this handy tool. Now all i have to do is click the button and the tab I'm on is pinned. Done. My web experience has improved since cutting down on the number of mouse clicks I have to make. After months of use I can say Pinner is one of my most cherished add-ons ... Anyone who is a chronic tab-pinner should agree. I only gave it 4 stars because the button could be more attractive. UPDATE: Everything I wrote about this prior still holds true. It's a very useful tool to have. However, since I've discovered 'Pinkeys' (which simply pins/unpins tabs using a hotkey) I just had to make the switch. Bye-bye unattractive icon!

  • (2014-01-05, v:0.4) Carver Tate: New Shortcut?
Hi there, first I would just like to say THANK YOU for making Pinner, it has saved me a ton of time. The reason I am writing is I noticed the Pinner icon recently had "alt p" added to it and realized it was a new shortcut/hotkey command. However, when I hit alt+p nothing happens. I use a Mac, so I also tried shift+option+p since alt is the secondary option key command on Macs, and this also didn't work. Could you give me some advice? Thanks again!!! - Carver
  • (2012-10-08, v:0.3) Cal Harrington: Pinner stopped working
I had been using pinner for months now. For some reason it stopped working. I'm running Chromium (18.0.1025.168 (Developer Build 134367 Linux) Ubuntu 11.10). It "enables" and the icon shows up but clicking the icon does nothing anymore. I did several re-installations, 3 or 4, of Chromium including renaming the folders in /home/User(me) so that the installation would go from scratch... I hope it will work again. Thanks
