Does not work for me on Chrome version 80.0.3987.149 or 80.0.3987.162 As others have mentioned it continually reloads the page and never shows a transcript. This was after I hit the button next to the CC button in the video player. After this I uninstalled and reinstalled the extension, now it never shows the button on the player but starts reloading the video automatically right after the extension is installed. Shift+f5 reload made no difference in any part of this process.
Solution: Under the 3 dots under the video (Next to like, dislike, share), you can open a transcript. And on that transcript the 3 dots will let you toggle time stamps. NOTE only works with videos which already have subtitiles

It does not work, only keeps refreshing... automatically. One of the most annoying apps I have come across.

Okay, to the people saying this doesn't work--- When you go to a youtube video, clicking on the extension icon in the toolbar is NOT going to do anything. You have to click on the extension's icon that appears INSIDE the video player itself (bottom right, next to the [CC] and settings button). Note: You may have to move your cursor to unfocus then refocus the player to get the icon to show up. Works great :) I've been waiting for an extension like this. Thank you!
