Flags unvisited/unread (opened in the background, usually with the middle click) tabs, so it is easy to recognise what tabs still need to be read/visited.

You will easily know what tab you opened but have not yet looked into it. It is especially useful when you are searching for something on the internet, opening many links in the background. After a while you may be confused what tabs you have read and what you still need to look into.
This add-on solves the issue. You will always know what tabs was never visited.

- (2018-01-15) Stéphane F.: I love this extension ! Couldn't find another like this for Chrome. It replaces one of my favorite Tab Mix Plus' functionality when I used Firefox. But sometimes, on some computers, the mark gets broken. Most of the time, it displays as an empty square on my Windows XP computer. One time I got the good arrow, but it didn't last, and I don't know which setting could have changed this (Windows appearance ? Chrome font encoding ?). On a Windows 10 computer, since I tried to change Windows themes, I get a half-sized arrow, and I don't know how to roll back. On Windows 7 workstation, I still haven't noticed such problem. I asked the dev for help in verifying settings on which this extension relies.

- (2014-06-18) Elena Spitzer: This extension results in pages reloading when you switch to them. It's nice to know which tabs are unread, but it's not worth it when it ends up adding 5 seconds to the load time when you finally switch to the unread tab.
