FreshView for YouTube™ is an extension that helps you discover new YouTube™ videos by hiding ones you have already watched.

What can I control?
• The visibility of viewed YouTube™ videos using the "Hide Videos" toggle.
• The minimum watch progress of a viewed YouTube™ video using the "View Threshold" slider.

Are there any restrictions?
• You must be logged into a YouTube™ account with watch history enabled.

Where can I donate?
• Nowhere. Keep your money and enjoy!

I'm very, very satisfied with this app! I was able to delete videos I'd already watched from the search bar! However, it doesn't work with YouTube Shorts. Please make it work with Shorts too!

Doesn't seem to work. I'm on the latest Brave browser. I love the options compared to "competitors", but they don't seem to function at the moment.

Stopped working for me so I switched to eckknmnfoohbeklmjlidmfdlakndcfkm (Chrome store) and went to options and changed from 100% to 10% view time.

Really great extension but did it stop working today? I am seeing tons of already watched videos on YouTube's home page. 🤔 Thanks for the time it worked. 🙏🏻 Quick update, it worked again for a little while, now it stopped working again. 😬

Extension keeps turning off and settings keep resetting. Not really that useful when i have to remember to manually turn it on everytime.

for me it works fine anyone that is having an issue you have to enable hiding the videos in the settings of the extension

Used to work great, but hasn't been updated since 2022 and it seems the author lost interest. Now, many recently watched videos just keep showing up as if the extension wasn't even running.

Great extension but it went broken and started hiding all watched videos from individual channel pages despite having that setting off.

Great extension, if you could add a feature to disallow videos under or over a certain view range that would be amazing. I keeping weirdo VODs now with 2 views since they tweaked the algorithim to copy tik tok i think

It was hard to get working, but once I did, it works amazingly well! Restart browser and you can only toggle the hide setting in the extension while viewing a youtube page. Otherwise it doesn't give you the option to "Hide Videos"

I never leave reviews but I felt forced to because of all the recent negative reviews. I took the time to give it a shot because one comment (buried beneath the negative reviews) mentioned that it requires you to "enable" the plugin before it works. I took the time to enable the plugin and it actually does work and my entire youtube viewing experience has been pleasantly improved. I highly recommend installing it and going into the plugin options to tweak it to your liking before leaving a negative review.

Seems to still work on the homepage, but appears to have stopped working when letting youtube autoplay. I've been ina loop of watched videos for a while now if im not managing it directly

Sort of works as in it's hiding the videos you've watched before but still leaves an empty space where the videos originally appeared. So it doesn't remove them from the window at all to replace them with fresh content I haven't seen yet, it's only a cosmetic fix.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Once I figured out how to switch it ON, it worked great. It really should be ON by default, it'd probably save all the negative reviews from people who couldn't get it to work.
