• (2020-12-05) Joanna Vancouver: I tried 4 YouTube screenshot Chrome extensions at the same time and chose this one over the others. It saves the PNG file with a full timestamp. The screenshots are the resolution your YouTube playback is set to, so HD is 1920 x 1080 pixels.

  Hey. Like the extension, especially as it adds the file name of the page it was taken from. However, one of the main users (for me and, I imagine, a lot of other users) is to capture a new thumbnail from the video to use as the YT thumbnail. The problem is, YT has a file limit of 2MB for the thumbnail uploads, and your tool always saves at about 2.5MB. This means I either need to resize your download or (as I'm doing) use a different screenshot tool entirely. I suggest you at least have the option to select a default download size/resolution or add better compression so that the file sizes come out at below 2MB each time.
