- (2024-08-28) Lisbel Rosario: I love it this extension. It works in the background so I don't have to open another tab to see if they book I am searching for is available at my library. It automatically tells me if they have it available at my library and not only that, it lists the e-books and audiobooks available as well. You set it up once and reap the benefits forever. Add it to your Chrome NOW!
- (2024-08-17) Katja Amyx: Update 2024: After 6 years, I still love Library Extension just as much. Anyone who reads and has a local library should use it. I love this extension. Now when I'm browsing Amazon or Goodreads, I can see instantly if my library has the book and one click get's me to the right book on my library's web site. Using Chrome for Mac.
- (2024-08-15) txcharley: WHEN IT WORKS it is GREAT. However, it unlinks itself frequently and I don't notice until it FINALLY gives me a notice that I need to "set up" my "new account"!! UPDATE Aug 15, 2024. STILL having problems!! Now it won't even search my local library, some "unhandled error" keeps it from the catalog?
- (2024-08-13) Kelli Martin: I love this extension. I use multiple sources for books and this keeps me from having to take a look at each one. Love it so much! Could not read without it. BUT! It does randomly restart itself with each update and I have to put my libraries back in again.
- (2024-08-09) Robert Chaisson: This is the greatest extension! Lets me shop Amazon and the library at the same time. Often better than the library search. Time saver and saves purchasing some books.
- (2024-08-06) Kathy Chumley: I loved this extension for years but it suddenly disappeared.
- (2024-06-14) M. “Garrett” K: Incredible Extension, saves me so much time searching if a book is available from libraries! All readers should have this
- (2024-06-07) Caroline Nuhn: If you're a reader, get this extension....seriously. Not only can you see what's available at your local (or not local) library, but you can hit the link and be sent straight to a book's page at your library. This has literally changed my reading life. I've always been a person to assume my library just won't have the books I'm looking for but I was pleasantly surprised. Libraries are such an important part of communities and I love that this makes it that much easier to support them. Like I said, just get it, you'll thank yourself!
- (2024-06-07) Amy Pickett: I love the Library Extension app! It has saved me so much money and encouraged me to be a more frequent library user. Whenever I am tempted to buy a book, and I can see that it's available from my local library system, I just place a library hold then and there and save myself a little cash! I recommend this app to everyone!
- (2024-06-05) Jordan Jones: When I got this extension, I thought it would show my local library's holdings from an Amazon page. It does that, but it also tells me what's at the OpenLibrary, Hoopla, and Libro.fm. And it does all this on Goodreads as well as Amazon. This is so helpful!
- (2024-06-03) Jenni: This app works wonderfully and saves me so much money. I can just get the book from the library easily.
- (2024-06-01) Phil Van Huesen: Terrific (money-saving) extension!
- (2024-05-22) linda crum: Extremely helpful! Can't live without it!!!
- (2024-05-21) Laura Knotts: excellent extension!
- (2024-05-18) Randy Joseph: Library extension is insanely helpful. I can see all my library accounts in one place and instantly see when I can get the book the fastest.
- (2024-05-10) Schmuttis Hiker: I LOVE this extension. It saves me so much time. Whenever I have a webpage open that shows a book I now know if I can find the book on overdrive from my local library.
- (2024-04-30) Jenni Levenbook: Tremendously useful to keep me using the library. I love that I can put in all of my cards and have it search all of the catalogues. I love that it works with StoryGraph. I just all around love it. Thanks for having created this!
- (2024-04-29) Kat Theriault: Great extension helps me when I'm hunting for books and checks my local libary to see if they're available for checkout!
- (2024-04-23) Laurie Hopper: This extension is my "go to" for books!! It is so helpful and reliable. I like to support local libraries as much as possible. Especially for audio books, but paper books too. I can usually get ahold of newly released books quickly. Thanks!
- (2024-04-20) Dan Herrick: Incredibly useful and reliable.
- (2024-04-17) Vanessa Bishop: My favorite extension. I use it all the time. Thank you!

- (2024-04-14) Caitlin Keidel: Love this extension. It is extremely helpful!
- (2024-04-12) Nicole Sparks: This makes it so easy to search local (and virtual) libraries!
- (2024-04-12) HM Harris: This is an incredibly powerful and helpful tool. Every library user NEEDS this extension. This extension also helps me see that my library should really add more digital titles (since there is usually a long waiting list for a small number of digital copy of a title and no one checking out multiple physical copies).
- (2024-04-06) Rachael Tierney: Incredibly helpful little tool!
- (2024-04-05) Sam Pler: Such a time (and money) saver
- (2024-04-03) Erin Ellis: So helpful and a time saver!
- (2024-04-02) Laura Ann Dekker: I was reading a Kirkus review of a new book, went to the extension, and with a couple of clicks downloaded the book to my Kindle. Easy and free, and it's a new release. Great!
- (2024-03-30) Carey Reads: I love being able to see if a book is available at my library as I'm shopping for books!
- (2024-03-26) Justin Monisit: Helps so much. Cannot imagine browsing Goodreads or Audible without this extension knowing that I probably don't have to spend money to get something I could get on Hoopla. Makes me glad to use my library
- (2024-03-24) Jim Kelley: Absolutely essential extension if you borrow books from libraries in any way, shape, or form.
- (2024-03-21) Marsha Blevins: This is a life saver! It saves me money on books I need for work and fun. It helps my local library because it gives me a one stop shop to reserve a physical copy locally or borrow an ebook or audio version on the spot. LOVE THIS EXTENSION!
- (2024-03-15) Jim Rain: Very useful and easy to use.
- (2024-03-12) Sierra Prasada: Just makes life a little bit easier and a little bit happier. Thanks!
- (2024-03-10) Elizabeth Metz: Other than maybe my adblocker, this is the extension I use most and definitely get the most out of. It's unobtrusive, and queries both my library and one of the other book services I have (everand), and has saved me from accidentally buying things I have access to for free. It used to be kind of a pain to look up a book on Amazon and then search four different sites (which don't always have the best search engines - Overdrive, I'm looking at you!), and this extension fixes that problem like a charm. I don't ever want to be without it. :)
- (2024-03-10) MAS: This is a great extension. It saves me tons of money. Any time I look at a book or audiobook I can see right on the page if it's available at my library and how much of a wait there is for Overdrive and Hoopla titles. Once in a while there's a title with multiple editions and it can't distinguish between them but as long as you know how it works you can forgive that because otherwise it's fantastic. Responsive developer too. If you consume this type of media you owe it yourself to install this. And don't forget to support your public library!
- (2024-03-08) Alicia Myrick: This is one of the most valuable tech tools for me. Its the first thing I add when I get a new computer even before changing all my settings :). i am an avid reader and this extension has helped me support my love of reading and our local library. I can't talk about how great of an extension this is. I am part of a statewide library system and have that and the branches within a 20 minute radius plus the Libby/hoopla and it loads every time and gives me the best information. Simply the best.
- (2024-03-08) Amy S: I can't rave enough about this extension. As someone who read approximately 400 books last year, most of them borrowed, this made my life SO much easier to find. I have multiple library memberships plus Everand and Hoopla through my local library and having an easy, quick way to find books is so appreciated and easy to use. I've raved to friends in real life and on social media. If you love to read and want to save some money - get this extension.
- (2024-03-05) Geoffrey Ormrod: Fantastically helpful and time saving too. A great product
- (2024-03-04) Eleanor Trombla: literally so incredibly helpful. It works with The Storygraph which is the best book app/website ever, so shout out to this integration.
- (2024-03-03) Johanna White: easy to install, easy to use, immediate value, exactly what an extension is perfect for
- (2024-03-01) Jenna Kelly: This is a great extension, it makes quick references much easier
- (2024-02-26) Jessica Plante: so much easier than searching each library in a separate app/webpage to see if they have a book I'm looking for.
- (2024-02-23) Rachael Shafer: This extension is absolutely amazing and saves me so much time! I no longer have to search multiple libraries to see if a book is available.
- (2024-02-18) Joyce Hiebert: This is the perfect little tool to help me decide whether to borrow or buy a book. I love it!
- (2024-02-15) Gabe Freeman: Awesome, only visible when needed, and deeply appreciated

I have used your extension - which I LOVE! - for a long time in another profile. Recently installed in my new personal Google Account / Chrome Profile and it seems to a problem. I was experiencing a complete dead-zone, sporadically, when I used Google Search or loaded commonly used URLs... nothing would happen but a spinning cursor. I did troubleshooting by turning off all of my Chrome Extensions, and I fear this Library Extension may be the problem. :( Things worked again when it was disabled. I'm going to change the settings to only be enabled with https://www.amazon.com/ - to see if that helps, but wanted you to know. BTW - I keep a very clean, up to date system, in all respects, and this issue just resurfaced after a Windows Update-required restart: Windows 11 Chrome Version 112.0.5615.138 (Official Build) (64-bit) - (2023-03-21, v:2023.321.1) Holly Springer: Extension
Although I have the Library extension which I love, and use with the Amazon site. I find that each time I wish to search for a book at one of my listed libraries, I need to reinstall the extension. Why does it not keep open? I thought it would automatically show the book availability when I open the page and click on the title. - (2023-02-20, v:2023.206.1) Bryan V Spellman: New Goodreads...

I was wondering if Overdrive is going to be updated on the site. In the Chicagoland area, Overdrive is being sunsetted and it is now Libby. I was curious if this change was going to be reflected on the library extension? Thanks! - (2023-01-05, v:2023.102.1) Lizabeth Kashinsky: not working
