I joined capital one when I was in between banks dealing with terrible service with wells fargo... I found capital one and initially just was going to open up an account temporarily. But boy this bank is BETTER than wells fargo and I ended up switching to JP Morgan/Chase but I kept my capital one. This is one of the many actual Incentives they give. Wells fargo you could spend 1000's get 5 bucks back in "rewards"... Capital One thank you for getting me out of debt and being a legitimate service! HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10

They make it tricky to figure out how to claim this reward.

Even if you forget that you have it it works.I IThe app automatically pops up and searches for coupons ,giving you qualified savings

Booo!! If I could give 0 I sure would. The minute I installed this garbo my computer started running super slow. The extension itself is intrusive, annoying and so user-unfriendly with no confirmation you've actually done it right to earn whatever rewards they're talking about. Ideally, an effectively designed shopping extension should make it easier to spend money, not harder. Of the 3 times I used it during checkout I never actually saved any money - all the codes the extension tries are readily available online and usually invalid anyway. I got an email yesterday saying I'd earned 82 cents in rewards, yippee, but before I even get to take that haul to the bank, I get another email saying my capital one shopping account was terminated because I 'engaged in fraud or other impermissible activity.' Lol okay, I'd probably be more offended at being called a fraudster if it wasn't by a blatant data mining effort repackaged as "capital one shopping," interesting how my computer was right as rain again as soon as I took out the trash. Such a bad product I re-installed it just to post this review. And now I get to trash it again.

Literally will just send you in loops for a reward that you'll never actually get. Its a straight up con and probably illegal.

I went through all the process of signing up b/c it said I would get 45$ in rewards and there is none. Waste of time.

I like to shop at capital one it is one the best places to shop, and I like it's full size print ads that it uses to sell most of their products because they have good famous people however, on the other hand I enjoy the models they use in some of the other ads it helps you visualize the those ads.

Finds me discounts all the time. I save money with a single click.

Scam. None of the bonuses promised ever showed up despite me following the directions carefully.

I have received over $4000 is rewards. If you plan on making a purchase, go on the website then wait a day or two and they usually send an excellent cash back offer for that site.

Beware – Not Trustworthy I would strongly caution anyone considering this extension. Capital One Shopping advertises “Shopping Rewards,” but in practice, they are unreliable and often refuse to honor them. I activated offers, completed purchases exactly as instructed, and even provided screenshots as proof. Despite this, their customer service denied my rewards and hid behind a vague clause: “We reserve the right, without prior notification, to limit the quantity of Shopping Rewards or to refuse to provide you with any Shopping Rewards.” That essentially means they can refuse to pay you for any reason at all. What’s the point of activating offers if they don’t stand by them? In my experience, this extension is misleading at best and feels like a scam. Don’t waste your time or risk your purchases OR PRIVACY!!! relying on “rewards” that may never come.
