Eenmaal de extensie gedownload, krijg je een instructie in beeld waar je verzocht wordt om de extensie omslachtig verder up te daten naar een nog nieuwe versie d.m.v. de ontwikkellaarsmodus op de extensies-pagina. Na deze manier van updaten kan de extensie pas gebruikt worden. Vervolgens werkt de add-products functie niet (scherm blijft telkens wit) waardoor je geen producten kunt toevoegen. Munteenheid verandert ook niet als je bijvoorbeeld de prijzen in Euro's wilt zien i.p.v. Dollars. De extensie biedt überhaupt niets nieuws ten opzichte van de functies die er beschikbaar zijn op Alieexpress zelf. Je kan deze extensie op Alieexpress bijvoorbeeld gebruiken voor: - Het vinden van de goedkoopste producten; - Het vinden van vergelijkbare producten; - Een zoekmachine voor Alieexpress producten; - Het zien van beoordelingen over een product. ... wat je ook allemaal al kunt doen en zien op Alieexpress zonder deze extensie. De extensie doet dus eigenlijk niets anders dan de Alieexpress website in een Thieve-jasje steken (welke helaas door de bugs nog slechter functioneert dan de Alieexpress website ZONDER deze extensie).
- (2019-06-04) Neil Edwards: I used this for a couple of months and then decided it wasn't for me. Fair enough. Problem comes to trying to Unsubscribe. I've contacted them 4 or 5 times asking to end my subscription, with no reply or response. They continue to charge my credit card and do not respond to emails. These guys are scammers just in it for your money. Stay away at all costs!

- (2018-01-22) Every time I right click on a pic to find it on aliexpress, all it does it never even takes me to aliexpress. It just searches for the pic in the google shopping search bar. I've never had it connect me to aliexpress even once. Uninstalling. I get the exact same results if I right click a pic and 'search google for image.' They both take me to exactly the same results page

- (2017-01-11) Erik Lentz: It doesn't really do much unless you use thieve.co for recommendations. It mostly just adds Thieve's Aliexpress affiliate code to your purchases, so they get credit/kickbacks from the things you buy.
