  • (2023-06-05) iRokr: This was a good extension 🥲
  • (2023-05-03) Vincent Tobiaz: RIP I donated to abused and trafficked women to help start a new life. It is a cause that meant something to me, and it was mere quarters and pennies vs thousands of dollars spent on Amazon.
  • (2023-02-23) Jordan Smellie: This was an excellent extension for many years. Worked as promised, no bugs, no weird permissions. Perfect right up until the day Amazon killed off the Smile program. Thanks for your help and your extension, dev. Much appreciated. I'll keep the extension installed, just turned off -- just in case something changes.
  • (2023-02-22) Make Name Acceptable Go: Always worked without a flaw. An excellent extension. (I'll leave it on my system, just turned off in case the below gets changed.) But Amazon says: "Amazon closing AmazonSmile to focus its philanthropic giving". So basically: "WE want to give what you spend on what WE want to give to. You're not important." Which, if they didn't have Smile already set up, seems reasonable (because we are an income source, not dear friends). But to take all the good will and "I'll spend a little more since it benefits something I like" and just flush it... Poor PR, poor business sense. Especially since the % given was so tiny. Just another example of "Has Amazon been infiltrated by corporate saboteurs?" level of poor corporate choices.
  • (2023-02-21) Dale B: This was great till Amazon removed smile. Oh well, was nice while it lasted and felt good to know my purchases helped out my charity of choice. Hopefully Amazon brings it back. Still doesn't make sense to get rid of it.
  • (2023-02-21) Joshua Luppes: Great extension - never had any problems, didn't need any weird data access, and made it easy to use a helpful charity program. Unfortunately, Amazon has now ended the Smile program, but I just wanted to drop some appreciation for what was a great and useful extension.
  • (2023-02-20) Ric J: Great little app to keep my browsers pointed at smile.amazon.com. Thank you so very much for making life just a little easier and better for all of us. Sadly smile.amazon.com ended it's existence 230220.
  • (2020-11-04) Brendon James: ok,so it looks realy adorable but it wont let me add it to my laptop :( i dont know if im glitching or it dosent work!
  • (2019-02-25) Sharienne W. (i_read): It works and I appreciate the help. I try to always remember but some days that is a very tall order. My charity now receives the maximum from my purchases because I purchase everything from Amazon on the smile pages.
  • (2019-01-27) Great app! Just one suggestion: Allowing it to do the same but with amazon.co.uk to smile.amazon.co.uk That would be great! Otherwise, works a charm!
  • (2018-10-15) Mark Vaughn: Would be good to be able to toggle it off temporarily (when a url doesn't work with smile.amazon.com o get sent in to an infinity loop)
  • (2018-08-23) Ney Mienglavanh: Simple and easy to use add on my browser. With this, it makes it easier for me to donate to my favourite charity anytime.
  • (2018-04-24) Andri Irawan AndriAdenk: *... . :-)
  • (2018-02-23) Daniel Murray: When I click a link a product link on a website or email, it doesn't take me to smile.amazon - I need to refresh the page or manually go to Amazon and then the smile redirect works. It should automatically redirect direct links too.
  • (2018-01-16) Rex Schrader: Love this, helps me to donate to my favorite causes automatically. One bug: If you are not logged in to Amazon you will get an "Infinite Redirects" error.
  • (2017-04-03) Simple and brilliant! Charities around the world thank you!
  • (2017-02-12) Jürgen Lehmann: Funktioniert nicht in Deutschland!
  • (2016-12-24) Shannon Murdock: very helpful extension, especially for making sure I remember to use smile when many affiliate links send me to the regular storefront. Occasionally getting application errors where it fails to redirect, causing me to remove and readd the extension to Chrome. Otherwise, I love it!
  • (2016-04-15) Rich Paul: I've been having a problem with the first "smile always" extension I got last year. For some reason, it recently began forcing any Amazon hyper-link in my emails to be redirected to the Kindle page. This meant that I couldn't click on a "Reply" link from a previous Amazon item comment, review, or answer in order to respond to a question and expect to go directly to the page it came from. This happened once before when I first started using the Amazon Smile extension roughly, 1.2 years ago.I forget how I fixed it that time but it wasn't an isolated problem, everybody was having that trouble. Anyway, today I deleted the extension a few minutes ago and when I saw this "Jeremy Schlatter Smile Always" version, I decided to try it and it worked great! I went to my other desktop and tried reinstalling the 'old one' to see if maybe it would work again after being removed but 'no cigar'. It still had that problem so I've installed this version in both computers. The J. Schlatter one Works Great!

  • (2014-07-15) Robert Williams: This is so helpful! I sometimes forget to go to Amazon Smile and this works really well!
  • (2014-07-01) Austin Kurtz: Fantastic. Doesn't break some links like the more popular "Smile Always" extension.
  • (2014-05-03) I can't view products unless I sign in :( I would love to use this extension on public computers but have to disable it
  • (2014-04-07) Kevin Kratzke: Another extension that promised to do this didn't work for me at all, but Always Smile is working fine. Nice and simple.
  • (2014-03-27) Vinnie Vu: Works great from both links and google redirect!
  • (2014-01-22) Eli Robbins: Works perfectly. Great extension!

  • (2020-07-14, v:1.1) Cate Lillig: Suggestion
I would love to be able to toggle the extension on and off. I work on three different Amazon sites and I need to NOT be redirected when I am working, but I want my searches (during break times) to be redirected. I know that I can bring up the Manage Extensions page in my Google account, but it would be nice to be able to right click the extension and toggle it on or off.
  • (2018-08-29, v:1.0) Ryan Snook: Causes an issue with the official extension
This prevents the official extension, "Amazon Assistant for Chrome", from working properly. When Always Smile is enabled, the wish lists will not load and will not allow you to add an item from a 3rd party site to your Amazon wish list. Broken with Always Smile enabled: https://i.imgur.com/TY11BkQ.png Working: https://i.imgur.com/X5E6vhP.png
  • (2016-08-18, v:1.0) Avi Nutkis: Use HTTPS by default
You should redirect to HTTPS by default. Right now, your extension conflicts with HTTPS Everywhere.
  • (2014-08-22, v:1.0) Redirect loop
When clicking on links to Amazon, I am getting redirect loops.
  • (2014-07-26, v:1.0) Janete Barbirato: Suport
Olá, gostaria de saber em que situações ou mensagens, posso usar o Smile? quando vi o aplicativo na Loja de Google Chrome , bem claro que é GRATUITO, é isso mesmo? grata.
