The MyUS Shopping Extension for Chrome requires certain browser permissions in order to function properly, including permission to access each of the sites you browse in Chrome. For full transparency, we have listed permissions we require and the corresponding data collected below:
Browser Tabs
* When you add an item to your MyUS shopping cart, we sync that data across each of the browser tabs on which the MyUS Shopping extension is active. We require permission from each of your open tabs to do this, however, we do not collect any data on the tabs you have open.
Storage
* Items you add to your MyUS Shopping cart are saved in Chrome. Permission is required to store this product data so that you may access the items in your cart later.
Broad Hosts
* We require permission to all HTTP or HTTPS websites in order to read product data so we can add items to your MyUS shopping cart. However, we ONLY collect any data on these sites if you choose to add an item to your MyUS shopping cart. The data we collect includes URL, product title, merchant name and price. This data is not sold or shared externally.

I used the app because Hallmark wouldnt take an international Credit card and didnt do internaitonal shipping and I wanted something there real bad. edit - Now getting used to it, this is an excellent extension to buy stuff in the US, easily buy from stores in the US which wont ship internationally, myUS will just ship it for free domestically and charge intl shipping rates only.

However, using the myus extension I was easily able to add the item to the cart, get a clear picture and details of all the costs (shipping, tax, insurance, handling, etc.) involved and was easily able to complete my purchase. So kudos to the team and thank you.
